I ordered a box of sweets here, I loved them. There are no Indian restaurants where I live, so I am always excited to get the chance.
We took a while to look at the counter and they had an array of marvelous sweets. I don’t know a lot of their names but I’ve had them before at other places and I know they’re good. They are mostly milk or flour based confections, with different flavors.
The girl serving us was patient, and kind, and let us pick the ones that we wanted, just by pointing/description since again we didnt know There is a menu that shows the price of the sweets by weight.
They also have a dine in menu with lots of delicious sounding dishes but we weren’t looking for a meal at the time so we just got the sweets box.
The sweets are a delight and unfortunately they didn’t last too long!!! They have a delicious consistency of fudge but without the overly sweet yuckiness that you get. They are still nice and sweet, and moist, just a very pleasant flavor and texture all around.
So overall, with the quality of the food and the very nice service, I’m pleased 🙂

Food was really good and they had it done quickly. Some other places take really long to prepare their food, but this place was quick to do so. Both takeouts I ordered were good and I could not find anything wrong with them.
got barfi in december 2022, and there was hair in it. it made me feel really disgusted and not want to eat the rest now – it made my rating go down.

The best Indian buffet in town, super nice staff. It costs $13.95 per person for the buffet. The buffet has almost everything , the curry section, dessert section, salads, dips. All the curry chicken is cooked to perfection, love the flavour. If you are looking for Indian cuisine and wanna try few different things at one go, this is the place for you!!!! It’s great for family outing meals, casual dining. I would come here again for sure.

PROS: Good service, clean, old school vibe, cheap dinner buffet ($13.95), unlimited naan, everything homemade, vegetarian options, family operated. CON: Limited meat selection, but.. I’m not a huge meat eater anyway. My dinner was delicious and I really enjoyed the service. I will return! Loved the family atmosphere. Thanks guys!

Tried the buffet. Food seems to be stale. Felt as if food was cooked 2 or 3 days ago. Lot of options were there but nothing tasted fresh. Naan was undercooked and cold when they served. Gulab jamuns and jalebis were also cold and had pungent oil smell.

Tasty vegetable samosas. From sweets I only tried Amrati and it was delicious and a bit heavy. Will go again. Great view of the mountains from the window seats. Parking is across the street in front of the bank.

Awesome food!!!! Accidently find out this place and oredered briyani coz I was craving for so long it really surprised me with the portion and taste, and the Tandoori chicken is so juicy, great timing too. Probably the best Indian food I found in Canada, will definitely come back again.

There IS a reason for all the poor reviews. This place has NO IDEA of what good food is! Bad service, bad atmosphere. This place looks like it was designed in the 70’s. Everything is so OLD. The naans are awefull, all the dishes are not fresh and just reheated from the freezer. All the Indian sweets are STALE as NOONE shops here.
How they stay in business is amazing? Who eats here? I guess only those that have no idea what real Indian food tastes like!

We always used to go the Main street branch but recently tried their Richmond location. It’s a very neat and clean place to enjoy food with family. Love desi methai and all other food items and friendly service.

I got Paneer Pakoras from here. The Tamarind was spilled in pakoras container. They should focus more on packaging for take out orders. Also I got stomach ache after eating these pakoras, probably they were not cooked completely.
