I got a spicy tuna roll that was cooked and the description on the menu looked like the tuna was just deep fried and not the whole roll itself. My friend and I ate one roll each and it was hot and just off tasting. When we went back to the manager she said “OUR POLICY IS THAT ONCE YOU EAT THE FOOD YOU CANT GET ANYTHING ELSE OR A REFUND IF YOU DONT LIKE IT” after we had just asked for her to swap out the rolls. She was extremely rude and terrible service. Don’t go there unless you want to be treated with disrespect. I hope the place shuts down due to the lack of customer satisfaction and the kitchen looked dirty.

The food flavor and quality wasn’t bad. However, the prices are pretty high. I payed $20 for a poke bowl which honestly wasn’t worth it because the amount of tuna and salmon kinda small. The service was fine and atmosphere wasn’t anything special. The table was just an average food court seating arrangement.

HELLO HILO! Perfect bowl of fresh Hawaiian Poke, worth every penny. We loved the staff and friendly vibe. Big open space, kid friendly, abundance of seating. Beautifully designed with gigantic loft windows, natural light pouring in.

I went here tonight for the first time and I must say this is some of the best sushi I have ever tasted. I got the Playboy Sushi Roll and the presentation was almost as good as the roll itself. I also got the Sassy Poke bowl which was fantastic.

The location just doesn’t have much energy. Ok. I was here on a Tuesday at noon- but both people working behind the counter seemed exhausted and not really interested in customers.

Food only ok – not amazing and not so fresh you noticed. There were some door dash orders going out, but not a lot of customers- just low energy.

Manager was EXTREMELY rude and didn’t hear us out when we asked to switch out our food or ask for a refund because a description on their menu was inaccurate. Not only was the food terrible but the service was terrible too. No wonder this place has such a low rating, it’s clear this establishment doesn’t care about the food they make or their customers.

My favorite place to go to for date night. I love R House and Hilo is a huge part of that. I always get the spicy Hawaiian with an extra serving of salmon or tuna for just $2 extra. It makes the meal perfectly balanced. I highly recommend this place if you’re ever in Remington.

This place is terrible. The sushi isn’t fresh, the service is horrendous, and they give you soy sauce in a packet. Hello, I’m eating sushi. You can’t be decent enough to put it in a cup for dipping? I asked for ponzu sauce, and they have the audacity to charge you $1.59 for a tiny cup of it. Sorry excuse for a food establishment. Explore other options.

Only got a miso soup. I watched them take it out of the pot on the stove, then blast it in the microwave for 2 minutes, while it’s in a plastic container. I got 1 piece of tofu in the whole thing.

Delicious!!! My sushi burrito fell apart on me but they very kindly included a fork. Staff were kind and fast. The food very good. I would definitely go back.
