Comfort food at it’s finest. What stood out to me was the friendly service and friendly atmosphere as soon as I walked in. Teena was my server, and she was very helpful since this was my first visit being in Louisville for business. Now, to the food. It was just like mom used to make, I had the steak cutlet, mashed potatoes and green beans. definitely recommend anyone visiting to come support them.

This was my first visit to this diner and it definitely won’t be my last! If you enjoy good home style cooked meals and/or hand scooped ice cream, this place is for you! They offer “Dine in” or “Carry out.”
They have GREAT food and very reasonably priced! Excellent fast friendly service, INCREDIBLE food served hot and very fast especially for a “dine in” restaurant, I ordered their “Chicken Fried Chicken with pepper gravy,” mashed potatoes and pinto beans. The waitress was super friendly and the food was brought to me steaming hot! The waitress checked on me a few times to make sure everything was good and that I didn’t need anything. This was the absolute best meal and dining experience that I’ve had out in a while, everything was great with nice sized portions and cooked to perfection! They also have hand scouped ice cream that looked delicious, someone had ordered a “banana split” and I got to watch it being made. I’ll have to return to the diner to try one for myself as I couldn’t even finish every bite of my dinner!
I stopped in again and tried the “Fried Chicken Livers” and wasn’t disappointed, everything was great again!
They have an adult game room and serve beer for the 21 and over crowd. I spoke with the owner he was very nice to talk to! Good people that serve great food! When you eat here I’m going to have to say that you’re definitely gonna love it! ♥️

The food was good, reasonably priced, and the service was great. Our server took the time to go over his favorites and even the way he likes to customize menu items. Cool 50s vibe inside with black and white checkered floor and lots of memorabilia all around the diner. The restroom had a cigarette smell inside and there was a noisy overhead fan. Very reasonable prices too. Would try again. My wife had the chicken fried chicken and I had the Italian sandwich in Texas toast with mayonnaise.

Wife and I stopped in for the first time recently. We got a fish platter and chicken fried chicken. Both meals were delicious. i didn’t care too much for the cornbread, but I’m pretty particular about cornbread, so I really can’t fault them there. It was a risky choice for myself. Prices were reasonable and staff was friendly. Will most certainly be going again and highly recommend others try it out for some great local food.

In town for an Army retirement and stopped in for breakfast. Sat at the bar where we were greeted immediately. Everyone is friendly. Our waitress was attentive. Emily, I believe her name is. Pretty, sweet girl. I asked her to surprise me with what she would fix her self. Eggs over easy, hash brown and bacon with a side of biscuits and gravy. Good size meal for a petite girl 🙂 Breakfast was good. The hash browns had a flavor i could not place. It was good. We’ll be back.

If you’re south of Louisville on Preston Hwy, this is a place to get a good breakfast. It’s a joint in a strip mall, so there’s plenty of parking and easy access. We had fried eggs, home fries (excellent southern style), and sausage patties (with a nice bite). My wife says the sweet tea is particularly good. Reasonable prices.

This was our 1st time here…won’t be our last. So hard finding delicious home cooking. We got meatloaf/mash potatoes/homey and liver onions/mashed potatoes/okra. Both were delicious. We were served by grandma, she was polite.
