I just had the most phenomenal meal at Hilltop Pub & Grill. I have been looking for a great steak place since I arrived on a business trip. The waitress was incredibly cheerful and fun. Recommended different foods and made the experience top notch. (Happy Birthday). Please give the chef a raise! The steak was the best I’ve had in a long time. Thank you for a great culinary experience.

While coming home from a vacation we decided to stop in Stevens Point for lunch. My boys were desperate for burgers. I haven’t eaten here in at least 10 years. I now have found myself going last month and now in August. First of all, I’m a big fan of history, so their entrance, being an old Point Brewery Oak vat is awesome. This alone is worth the visit. We ate today on their outside deck. My boys, who eat everything, got the 1/2 lb burgers. They couldn’t even eat the fries due to being so full. Service was amazing. It took us coming back home to get the best value and service, and right down the street!

Cool entrance. Seated promptly. Waiter gave some recommendations as to what to order. Ordered a steak, frosted root beer, and salad. Waited a while for the food then both the salad and steak came at the same time. I ordered a medium well steak and it came to me very rare. Server didn’t stop to see how the food was for 10 minutes. I asked him to cook it a little more and it came back medium. Didn’t say anything else and ate my meal. Asked for my bill and paid the full price tab. I didn’t complain and I’m not complaining here just sharing my experience. Frosted root beer and fries were very good. Won’t stop in the next time I am in town.

This is the place to go for great food, drinks, and atmosphere. There’s so many options on their menu that it will please everyone in your group! Food is always great and comes out fast! My favorites over the years-batter fried shrimp dinner, brisket sandwich, tenderloin sandwich (has amazing flavor), all with brew city fries…of course! Love the chicken dumpling soup and deep fried cheese curbs. Pic is the summer lunch option – crispy chicken Parmesan sandwich with brew city fries, very enjoyable!

This place was pretty good, especially for its price! I got the Tequila BBQ burger with straight cut fries. It would be nice if they had napkins at the tables, especially since we were eating burgers. I would highly recommend it for a place for a burger and fries place!

Hilltop Pub is a unique, true Wisconsin experience. Wisconsin used to be full of good pubs, that had great food and were inexpensive. They are rare now.
