Fantastic little place. The food here never disappoints and they offer alot of canned local beer and seltzers. They offer alot of unique daily specials, of which often become a momentary favorite as you may never see it offered again.

The pizza was good but it could have cooked a little longer. The crust wasn’t very crispy and when I went to take a bite, the cheese and toppings all slid off, even after folding it. Other than that, the sauce and ingredients were all very good quality.

Hillside could be a solid five if it weren’t for the flies! Flies flying, flies walking, flies sitting, flies dead in window and along baseboard.
Super bummed as not only is it the only option for vegan pizza in the area, we love the staff and the pizza in general.
If flies don’t bother you, try the garlic and olive oil sauce!

Love this place. We had the special pie today. It was BBQ chicken, bacon & ranch dressing. It was very good. They have a really tasty crust here with a nice yeasty flavor. Their red sauce is good too. Our pizza was a little soggy, but that was probably due to the BBQ chicken. The pizza was super hot and the cheese was crusty and delicious. They have Off Road Joe’s chips and drinks as well as local beers and seltzers. The dining room and bathroom was very clean. We really liked the fact that the offer slices & whole pies. Also found it cool that Togo boxes and containers were right in the dining room, so you can grab what you need to take leftovers with you! Our server/counter person was extremely friendly and had a super cute hair style. We definitely would recommend to everyone. Oh, it’s also organic and local! All around a great deal!

I was passing through town and decided to stop here for some quick food. I’m so glad I did because it is absolutely delicious. I got a large pizza and garlic knots, they were both incredible and a lot cheaper priced than down in the capital district area of NY. I’ve never paid less than $30 for a 3 topping pizza and garlic knots. Pricing is exceptional.
The atmosphere was quiet and cozy, very relaxing and calm.
The staff in the kitchen were working together in tandem, laughing and joking together and making everything run very smoothly. If I’m ever back in the area I will definitely be stopping here again.

The pizza here is very good! We spent a couple of days staying in Greenfield on business and decided to try Hillside pizza based on the good reviews. From the outside, you wouldn’t know what a tasty gem it is and might drive right past it.
The crust is perfectly crisp, tender and delicious. They also have unique and tasty variations of specialty pizza. We ordered a simple mushroom pizza and it was very flavorful. The Jane pizza is a house specialty and super delicious. We gave 5 stars for atmosphere because, for a hole in the wall pizza joint, it’s clean, super cozy with a small makeshift fireplace, and it has a cozy bar to eat at if you prefer. Service is polite and attentive. And try the maple knots if they are available! We will definitely return.
