We had supper here a couple nights, food was always awesome and very very reasonably priced. Very helpful wait staff and very easy to get along with. They don’t take credit cards but they do have a time machine.

You have to try the Duck Wontons for an appetizer. They are so good! You get a lot of bang for you buck here. The portion sizes are huge. So make sure you come hungry!! The people and staff are so friendly and helpful. We had a truly great time.

Our first time in here from the snowmobile trails. We’ve driven by it in our car a million times and I’ve always wanted to stop in.
Be patient with the service, only one person tending bar and waiting tables on a relatively busy Friday afternoon. Bartender and other patrons all very nice. Sometimes when you walk into a northern WI bar, everyone stares at the non-locals which can make you feel out of place (we have a year round cabin in Danbury so kinda belong). Not the case here. Very welcoming and warm atmosphere.
My only complaint was that Fox News was on the tv. That is usually enough to keep me away from a place, but the food, friendliness, and prices will bring me back.

We wanted to try something new, so this was our first time at the Hillside Inn.
Nice little dive bar with great food! We had a party of 7. Service was quick and accurate. They young man, who was our waiter around 7pm Sunday, Aug 13th, 2023, was very polite and good at his job. We all ordered meals and had 3 appetizers. The buffalo sauce on the wings was excellent! Seasoned sour cream for the waffle fries was on point! Fish and burgers were cooked perfectly.
All in all, great food and service!

Highly recommend this establishment! The food is wonderful! They have great daily food specials….. the prices are also amazing. The burgers are fabulous! The owner, staff, and even the other patrons are always so welcoming, making you feel at home. Don’t miss out by not visiting this place! It’s worth the drive!
