At Edley’s Bar-b-que we treat everyone who walks through the door like an old family friend. We pride ourselves with not taking any shortcuts in the kitchen. Our meats are smoked low and slow using Southern white oak. The sides are made from scratch daily with the same amount of attention. Everything is done with intention, from the food to the service to the music. We strive to serve the best food we can make and prove ourselves a worthy host—one plate at a time. Guest favorites include our brisket, macaroni and cheese, banana pudding, and our famous boozy milkshake, the Bushwacker. We are open lunch and dinner with a full-bar, and we offer catering for weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate lunches, family reunions, and more.

BBQ joint providing slow-smoked dishes & traditional Southern sides, plus fried chicken & catfish.

Loved Edley’s BBQ on Lebanon Pike and decided to try this location and get it to go.

When I called to place my order it was so loud at the restaurant I was yelling to be heard and got so frustrated I hung up.

Went to the location to order and it wasn’t very busy, but the music was so loud I couldn’t hardly even order at the place. I am deaf in one ear so it made it so challenging.

First they were completely out of Brisket and out of potato salad. Well we both loved the sample of turkey at the Lebanon Location and decided two Turkey Platters. I also got a half rack of ribs to go. With all the bad vibes I should have just called it quits and found a different restaurant.

The Turkey was the pressed together kind like lunch meat, pieces all pr seed into a shape and sliced. It was just absolutely gross and neither of us ate it. I looked up and saw she wasn’t eating it either and we both side why is it so different than the first time? What a bait and switch. For the price point getting not an actual Turkey breast but this gross stuff was deeply disappointing. We won’t be going back to this location.

After the experience at the Lebanon location I wanted to try the ribs. The ribs are not fall all the bone and not super tender. They did have amazing flavor. No sauce needed. A little more time in the smoker for fall off the bone, but the flavor was perfect and incredibly tasty. I wouldn’t go out of my way to order them.

The beans were different as well. They Lebanon location had like pulled pork in the beans. These had nothing.

This must not be the best location.

I only got pictures of the Ribs, I was so disappointed in the turkey I tossed it before pictures as it was just wrong. I am not a fan of glued together meat. BBQ is meant to be real meat and this location needs to visit the Lebanon Location and get with the program of great BBQ.

Why does the music need to be so loud at this establishment that you can’t talk or order food? Doesn’t seem good for business.

I came in and ordered a pretty good brisket sandwich. The mac and cheese was good, but the baked beans and potato salad were lacking.

It was about 25 minutes before closing, and I was on my last few bites. I still had a drink to finish. I never stay past closing anywhere and am always considerate. While I was still eating, the staff began loudly slamming chairs onto tables and stacking them without cleaning the tables first. Sage was very nice, but her coworker clearly did not want us there. They even brought a large trash can up near us, suddenly turned the music up very loud, and employees were twerking in the background while watching us. It was a weird experience, for sure.

That said, the sandwich was good.

Food was delicious. The sweet hostess was so kind and answered all our questions. She also kept checking on us to make sure we were good. We will be back.

Delicious Nashville style smoked meat platter. Too much for one person but good to sample everything. The banana pudding side was yummy and great way to end the meal however the green beans side was overcooked and I would not pick that again.

Chuck was amazing!! Extra helpful, kind and thought about it all (offered to bring us utensils, after giving us a bag for our leftovers, we would’ve completely forgotten it) the food was amazing!! So delicious and worth it! Desiree the manager was super sweet as well. A must when coming to Nashville!!! Thank you all.

Honestly had a really great meal here when I’m town with my parents. We shared a platter and it was more than enough food. Bill was very attentive. And we got a complementary banana pudding dessert! Thank you so much! The brisket was outstanding.

I previously ate at another BBQ restaurant that I won’t name here and I was very disappointed. This restaurant’s bbq however is the real deal! I’m use to TX style bbq since that’s where I’m from but this place showed me a different style and taste that I like! I got the pulled pork sandwich and was very impressed. Smokey and flavorful. Also if you’re worried if the sauce won’t taste good like I was please don’t. The sauce is sweet and savory. The wings are straight fire!

Five friends here for our annual girls trip. We googled ‘the best bbq places’ and found Edley’s. The reviews mentioned how great the staff and food was so the decision was made. The gal who took our order was super friendly and helpful when we were deciding what to choose. Our food came out timely and it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the trio platter. We were very disappointed that we didn’t have the same experience with staff as the reviews mentioned. Our server walked past us half a dozen times and never asked if we needed anything. A guy who seemed to be the owner/manager walked past us several times and happily welcomed a bigger party after us but didn’t say one word to us. It would have made our first time in TN a lot more fun if we engaged with the staff. Again, the food was incredible but be as joyful with everyone who comes in and not be so selective.

Edley’s BBQ really delivered. The brisket was incredibly tender and full of flavor—easily some of the best I’ve had. Burnt ends were excellent. The sides were all on point—mac and cheese, potato salad, and banana pudding were all delicious. They also gave out a free pulled pork sandwich for National BBQ Day, which was just as impressive. Definitely a spot worth checking out.
