We were coming into town to do some camping at Enchanted Rock and we found this place ahead of time because it just seemed like a nice chill spot and it was. It has a large outdoor seating which we typically prefer and a beautiful interior.

Now what you came for…the food. We got some onion rings as the starter and they we huge and crispy definitely worth it. I got a bacon cheeseburger (typical) and boy was it delicious. I think it needed a little more flavor other than that it was great and was paired with some crispy fries. We also got some chicken fingers which were devoured by a hungry little guy so I assumed he approved of them. The chicken sandwich was also devoured and I was told it was amazing. The salad my ol lady got looked vibrant and was told it was delicious and had a decent serving size for a salad. All together this place was worth the stop and if you happen to be in the area come check it out!

Everything was really good. The cornbread was amazing, especially with the homemade berry jam and the bacon and onion jam—both were on point.

The tomato basil soup surprised me—in a good way. I’m not usually a soup person, but I really enjoyed it.

The fried egg sandwich was super flavorful and very filling. One of my favorites.

Steak and eggs were solid. Eggs cooked perfectly, good flavor on the potatoes, and the tri-tip had a nice smoky taste (just a little cold).

Service was really good—friendly and attentive. Overall, great experience. Added pics because the food speaks for itself.

We loved this place and we almost didn’t try it but we’re so glad we did! Our new favorite spot in FBG. I can recommend the warm goat cheese for starters, the coconut shrimp tacos and the pork tenderloin with garlic mashed potatoes, and DO NOT SKIP on dessert! The hand pies were one of the best things I’ve ever had. The crust!! Even the side salad was delicious. The sangria was amazing, too, had a lot of flavor in the wine not just a bunch of fruit and juice mixed up in it. Service was excellent, the food came out quickly – we were there on a Tuesday, can’t speak to the weekend – and we will definitely be back. Vibes are exactly what we like. Cute grounds, very farm to table feel, picturesque sunset. Love!!! Sorry no food pics, we dug in and it was too good to photograph.

Unfortunately, both my coworker and I were disappointed with our meals. I ordered the albondigas and wasn’t able to finish them, as the flavor just wasn’t enjoyable. The service was also very slow. I had to wave down the waitress just to get a drink refill. On top of that, the restaurant was uncomfortably cold, and we both ended up eating with our jackets on. Overall, it wasn’t a great experience for us.

For the love of God, do NOT order the biscuits and gravy. The biscuit was dry and the little gravy they drizzled over it had the consistency of cheese sauce. Maybe that’s why it’s served with eggs and cheese on top. The spicy bacon was pretty good. Constant line at the bathroom. I don’t think we’ll be back. Service was great!

Recommended to us, and it was okay. The cornbread with the fruit preserves was nice. The Onion Bacon jam was interesting but didn’t work as well. The steak & eggs were great, and the table rated the dessert as the best thing we had. A member of our party tried the schnitzel and waffles (didn’t love it, very crispy and dry). So all-in-all, a mixed bag.

First off the restaurant is beautifully decorated and designed! The service here was friendly from the front desk to our waiter. The food was very fresh, perfectly cooked, and the drinks one point. Highly recommend getting a cocktail and the goat cheese appetizer!
