I just wanted to give a huge shoutout to Hilltop Restaurant for absolutely killing it with the catering for my daughter Raylisa’s Sweet 16 celebration on November 29th, 2025!
Chefs Kemar and Odale were AMAZING to work with – they were so creative and helped us customize a menu that was a HIT! I loved that they took the lead and suggested some amazing dishes, like the Saltfish Tostones appetizer, which was a GAME CHANGER (everyone was begging for the recipe and asking where we got it from.
The food was OUTSTANDING, and the presentation was beautiful. But what really stood out was the exceptional service the waitstaff were professional, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly. And the best part? It was affordable and worth every penny.
I highly recommend Hilltop Restaurant to anyone looking for delicious food, great service, and a team that’s passionate about making your event special. Can’t wait to work with them again.

Unfortunately, the service at the counter was very disappointing. There was no greeting upon arrival, nor a thank you or goodbye at the end of the interaction. When I asked about the meal special, the response was curt and off-putting, as though I should have already known the menu.
Customer service matters. Restaurants should understand that patrons are not obligated to support businesses that fail to provide basic courtesy and professionalism. With so many dining options available, customers can and will choose to spend their hard-earned money elsewhere for better service and food.
I will not be returning to this establishment. Investing in proper customer service training and hiring approachable, courteous staff would greatly improve the atmosphere and overall experience. This is unfortunate because the food is very good.

Where to start? The restaurant was clean and had a very relaxed vibe. The food here is Delicious… and I don’t play about my grub! ESPECIALLY the Mac n’cheese, consistency was perfect and didn’t taste like I was eating globs of cheese. We were able to try samples of the meats / sauces, which made my choice meal ( bbq jerk chicken ( well seasoned!), Mac n cheese & combo white rice / jerk chicken rice) more enjoyable. I was happy for leftovers!. Shout out to the cashier Odale for his hospitality and patience!.

Not sure how this place has a 3.5 rating, unless the food taste is inconsistent. Best oxtail I’ve had in years. I visited from out of town and had the goat soup, chicken roti and oxtail rice and peas and cabbage. Everything was delicious. If you’re looking at reviews, disregard that rating because my experience was not a 3.5 experience.

Walked in and was greeted with a smile. The restaurant had good music playing in the background. The food delicious, freakin delicious!!!! Not spicy at all, added hot sauce for a kick. I end up getting macaroni and cheese, rasta pasta chicken, and rasta pasta shrimp. I wanted the collard greens, but they didn’t have any more left. I went around 8pm and they close at 10pm So worth the 55 min drive there and back.

The atmosphere needs some help but that is literally the only critique I can say about this place. The Customer Service was phenomenal and oh my, don’t let me get started about the food. I got a simple rice in peas, greens, and curry chicken. And my goodness, it was made with love. You can taste how experience the cooks are. Every other Jamaican place has let me down ever since. I will definitely be returning.

A friend told me about this place. I had a taste for rasta pasta, and they did not disappoint. It’s made to order so expect to wait for it.
I also tried their jerk chicken rice, and it had a nice flavor to it.
