This is a great local bar with food. I had the smash burger and it was well prepared with good ingredients. The Italian Stallion is also great with excellent meats on a tasty bun. The service was attentive and personable. The atmosphere is modern with a golf flavor. The prices are very reasonable.

I came in because someone else posted a picture of the Poutine, and OMG it was so good! They run it through the oven, so the fries are crisp even with the gravy and cheese. This is going to become a regular stop. I got a flight of beers also. 2 hit my taste buds and 2 were alright, but beer is all about a person’s preferences.

This is a nice restaurant with good food and drinks. The staff all seemed friendly, and service was good. I had the fish sticks and my friend had the fried chicken sandwich. We both agreed that our meals tasted great. Despite being called fish sticks, my meal was much fresher and better quality than the name would imply. The beer was good too. I’d have no issue eating here again.

Excellent food and beer! Bit of a weird vibe for a brewery perhaps but that’s ok!

4.5/5.
Super delightful experience. I love this brewery so when I knew that they were going to also open up a restaurant nearby I was super excited.
The food was all great and unique. I tried a ton of dishes and they varied from good to excellent. Most of the dishes were the latter. Their chicken fare, while sounding basic, is actually awesome. Both the chicken dish and the chicken sandwhich were great. The Pork Belly nachos were the most disappointing out of all, and while the pork belly was good, it was just slabs of pork belly over fries.
Even so, most dishes were great. The beer is great. And the prices were average/fair.
Will def come back if I’m in the area again.

I’ve had two experiences here. The first my husband and I dined in. We were new to the area and ordered off a specialty menu for the area celebrating local foods. The main courses weren’t great. The drinks were delicious and the highlight was the poutine which we had never even hear of let alone eaten. But it was phenomenal. Fast forward a few months, I’m 4 months pregnant and was craving the poutine. That’s all we ordered and my husband drove 20 minutes to get it, got back and realized there was no gravy on it and the egg was very undercooked and the fries were burnt. (The gravy is the best part of the poutine!) After calling he was told the order said no gravy. He drove there and the most they would do is give us a tiny little cup of gravy because “the meat is too expensive…” I would’ve been happy without the meat honestly because they do give quite a bit but they were set on just the side of gravy. By the time he got back the food was cold and there wasn’t even enough gravy for the whole thing… The poutine is great if you order it fresh. Not sure we’ll be back.

I went there for a hamburger on mother’s Day they used to have great burgers last time I went I was not impressed with the small patty in the oversized bun. They said that they were smoking meats now so I decided to try the brisket sandwich and Mom had the poutine which she had never heard of lol or tried it she had smoked barbecue pork with gravy and cheese on french fries. Mom’s got a free dessert that day $9 lol…. So the place had great staff Gemma was the waitress bartender I believe was Alex or Adam…. I think he was also the cook that day lol The food was excellent but very pricey in the brisket sandwich could have used a lot more meat. It’s nice they had water at the table immediately without asking. Not about to pay $7 for a pint of beer. Especially when they make it themselves you think they could charge five bucks and still make good money. I don’t eat out much but would probably go back. Place was newly remodeled clean and I believe under new management.

If Benton Harbor needed a restaurant to be the face of the city, I would nominate North Shore Inn! This restaurant is a hidden gem in Benton Harbor. North Shore Inn gives historic vibes as you enjoy great food and service. It’s best to go early, as the restaurant was quite intimate. The food was to cry for and not too bad on pricing! This place could easily be on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives with Guy Fieri, if given the opportunity. The flavors hit every level of sweet, salty, crunchy, smoky, lovely, and delicious! There is great respect for the food here. Please make your way to North Shore Inn. You won’t regret it!

North Shore Inn is a delicious American pub that is known for there burgers. Everyone was pleased with their burger, the kids loved the Mac & Cheese, poutine fries are outstanding, I had the O.D.B orginial donut burger but I would have enjoyed more beef and less breakfast sausage in the patty. The bloody Mary’s we’re good. The place has captured the history of the location while updating it. Plus, it’s on the makers trail of S.W Michigan! Enjoy
