Great salsa bar 9/10 on the flavors. Birria tacos and burrito were very good 8/10. Consome was decent 7/10. Ceviche was good but needed more lime. Overall pretty good place and decent prices, give them a shot.

So happy we found this little gem.. they seriously have the best shrimp ceviche I’ve ever had.. the shrimp are big, clean and bursting with flavor. You can really taste the freshness!! Their chicken tacos are also my favorite probably the best I’ve had in SCV. Definitely my new favorite spot.

I remember when Hilarious was just a taco truck in sierra highway. They were a small family taco truck now they are a full blown restaurant. Ive been to many taco trucks but Hilarious hits differently than the rest. I remember the first time I ate a birria taco from Hilarious….it hit my soul. The flavor hits like a Michelin star restaurant. If there’s anything you should try first at Hilarious it’s his Birria tacos with consume. I take my girlfriend here, my friends, my coworkers, and family. Their desserts are as delicious as their tacos. I highly recommend them.

So happy they have finally opened their restaurant at 28440 Haskell Canyon Rd!!! The food is amazing especially the shrimp Ceviche hands down the best I’ve had ever! Good eats at a good price. Their tacos al pastor and tacos de carne asada are some of my favourites. Their carne asada burritos are also a good choice. Their two salsas are a creamy avocado salsa and a creamy orange-coloured salsa that’s the spiciest.

I tracked down a Sonoran-style taco vendor and the bacon-wrapped hot dog idea was fun, but the star was a hearty carne asada taco with slightly charred edges. Corn tortillas were warm and the salsas had real kick. It’s casual street food — eat standing up, expect lines, and enjoy the immediacy. Cash is king at many carts, so come prepared. Great quick late-night grub spot
