I was in the area for work, it was early and I wanted a lobster roll before I had to goto the airport to fly home. This was the only place that was open and boy am I glad it was. Stellar, fresh and perfect lobster roll! Had a pleasant conversation with the nice lady that made the salad and went on about my day. I hope to one day go back if I’m ever in the area!

We got a large side order of fried fish($10) and a side of shrimp($18) Fast friendly service, very fresh fish, fried in front of you, HUGE servings. My only two issues is that the batter doesn’t have any flavor, would greatly benefit from some salt, pepper and paprika. And secondly they only have prepackaged tartar sauce which was terrible.

I’m often on the road and always on the look-out for a genuine great hole-in-the-wall like Higson’s seafood. It’s strictly a seafood market and TAKE-OUT establishment. They dip and fry up a perfectly cooked choice of your favorite seafood from their simple and straightforward selections. Fish & Chips, Calamari, scallops, smelt, shrimp, Lobster rolls, clam strips etc. They do one thing and they do it well.
The locals are privy to the good eats served up here and if you are fortunate enough to stumble upon or even go out of your way to make it to Higson seafood you will be in for a great meal. Portions are strong and the product is exactly what it’s supposed to be. I can’t recommend any single item off the menu, I took the opportunity to sample as many as I could during a 10 day visit to the area and absolutely was happy each and every meal

Incredibly fresh and abundant seafood to choose from. Popular is their fried seafood plates packed so come early. I treat myself to a lobster on occasion. friendly service and smiles behind the masks. Stop in and try something like a Fish & Chip plate!

This place is awesome for seafood and the prices match!! I live on the cape and when visiting family over the bridge I head to Higson Seafood when I want Fish and especially to save some money HELLO !! Check them out- you will not regret! I tell you I got a fish sandwich plate special so reasonable! I wish they had prices like this on the Cape!!! And if you want to cook it yourself – fresh catch too- Lobster and they take … oh snap Yeah!!!
