I was hungry for some fried fish. Took a chance on this place. This fish is awesome! Crunchy like chicken on the outside yet soft and flavorful on the inside. Red beans and rice was good too! Will be back!!!

Stopped in to try out Highway Fried Chicken and boy they did not disappoint. We got tender baskets and that has to be some of the freshest chicken tenders I have ever had. Can’t forget to mention that two can share a 3pc tender since they are HUGE… keep it up highway fried chicken and we will certainly be back.

This is some good food. I ordered 4pc dark, 4wings and red beans and rice through a delivery app and it was amazing. Every thing was tasty and flavorful. Crispy chicken, not greasy, just real good chicken. The read beans and rice was so good. It was cooked very well and full of flavor. I will have this again.

First.. I ordered my food via phone and the customer service over the phone was horrible! I’m big on customer service.
Second.. When I finally made it to my destination and saw the wing plate that I received for $14.40, I was in shock! To serve an 8 pc pigeon wings (that’s how small they were), not chicken wings to someone for almost $15 is DIABOLICAL! The small side of onion rings were larger than the entree (wings).
Third.. I asked for my “so-called” chicken wings to be fried well because I like crispy wings not soft wings, but I couldn’t even get that.
Literally, got one star because I had to give it in order to leave a review. The only good thing I have to say is that the little food I did receive was hot.

Dine in or take out. Food is cooked fresh to order so it’s best to call in ahead. We’ll seasoned. Very friendly. Corn fritters are great. Whole wings on meals but not hot wing plate. Biscuits are good, just need some honey butter. They are extremely busy. Will definitely be back.

We had the 3 piece fish, salad with chicken, 2 pc fried chicken, onion rings, coleslaw. It was all delicious. The fish was just right. Really good breading and melt in your mouth fish. The fried chicken was good but it was a little spicy for my taste (I don’t like spicy food) but the flavor was good. The chicken on the salad, however, was not spicy at all. They are made from their chicken tenders which are not spicy.
Overall, I highly recommend Highway Fried Chicken and Seafood. It’s a welcome addition to the Jefferson area. Will definitely be back! Thanks.

Haven’t tried the fish yet but the chicken is absolutely delicious. Up there with the best I’ve ever had. Literally decadent. Slightly pricey but so yummy

The chicken is awesome regardless if you get strips or on the bone . The chicken strip’s are huge . Way better than Popeyes or any other place around here . Service is great . Everything I’ve tried there is awesome . Had the onion rings with my chicken strips tonight and they are awesome .
