I love to come here, especially on the bike in the spring, summer and fall. It’s usually my go to place when my husband asks where I want to go. Food is always good the price average with the times. I just left there tonight , not terribly busy our bill typical 60-70 $ . I think my main issue is with the wait staff service. We waited our typical 10 min. then I as usual I approached the bar and ordered our drinks and asked for someone to wait on us for food. I then waited another 7 minutes for a wait staff to order. I had three beers and each one I had to go up to the bar and get myself , I am a former bartender/ server myself so I totally get it if it’s busy. I am 63 and sometimes love to go out where someone waits on me these days. We had interaction with the server twice, once to order and once at delivery. We even went up to the bar to receive bill and then pay. I will be back yes, yet the service needs much improvement.

Can I just say that we have been here twice now and both times the food was amazing( best pizza in the area) best perch in the county, and we can’t say enough about the fun efficient servers! Ya gotta go here! Prices are good too!!! So worth the drive!

Always have great meals at the Hightower bar and Grill! The pizza is really good and one of my favorites is that chicken burrito!

They have delicious Bloody Mary’s, awesome burgers, and a fabulous selection of drinks! Great atmosphere, I love the lake! The owner is real, informative, and fun! We can’t wait to come back!

This was our first time at Hightower tonight. We came for the Wednesday special of a 14″ pizza with 3 items & pitcher of beer for $15.00! It was so busy. But we got a table. Our waitress didn’t say much, but did the basics. The pizza was thin yummy crust with 3 toppings that were very good. There’s also a nice balcony for some seating that overlooks a little lake. We’ll be back.
7/3/24: Returned for the pizza deal tonight with group of 6. It’s now $18.00 for the Wednesday night pitcher of beer & 3 topping pizza special. We sati put on the new, wider deck tonight. Had a great waitress & excellent pizza too. Will definitely return soon!

Our first time at Hightower bar and Grill, which was absolutely awesome. We sat on the patio, enjoying the view and had the best perch dinner ever this place is very reasonably priced and great service.

Food is good bar food, better than the average bar! Owner is a good guy. Waitresses can be hit or miss, depends on which one you get & how things are going, lol! Nice old fashioned bar with wood floors & a great view of High Tower Lake from the nice dining deck (take your mosquito repellent!) Poor wine selection, but would definitely recommend this establishment.

Had the perch, wings and shrimp baskets. (Couldn’t pick one)
Everything was cooked great and seasoned perfectly.
Went to another local restaurant and was very disappointed with the food (and more expensive for worse quality) after having great food at Hightower Bar&Grill.

Great bar on Hightower Lake. Stopped for beers only this time. Excellent prices. Great place to be trapped by the rain on the Harleys. Cheap beers and great appetizers.
