You don’t see places like this any more. Nice & dimly lit, and attentive owner who greets you at the door & a nice long bar.
The food is amazing & well worth a trip. The Chef will probably bring out your food herself.
The bartenders are attentive & someone is always checking on you.
The Spicy cucumber salad is the best I’ve ever had, I put some on my 205 Chicken Sandwich.

Such a great place. Amazing food we split a brie and fruit plate as well as a salmon salad and it was plenty of food. The atmosphere and service is excellent! i’m not a paper plate person at all, but they were cute paper plates and there was real silverware.

All I can say is “WOW!” I wasn’t planning to leave a review, but we were blown away by our appetizer. The humus was literally the best we’ve ever had (and we order it almost anywhere that has it on the menu). And you can tell it was great because I almost forgot to take a picture..

The steak sandwich was absolutely amazing, the chicken sandwich was perfectly cooked, and so tender. The sides (glass noodles, and spicy cucumbers) were unreal as well. The slight Asian-influence really took things to the next level. The staff was amazing and so sincere. Drinks were great. Could not recommend this place enough. It’s seriously in my top 10 restaurants I’ve ever been to!

Fun little (very small) bar type restaurant but was underwhelmed with the food especially considering the prices. I had the wedge salad which tasted good but was way overdressed. (Would recommend dressing on the side.) My husband had the steak sandwich which was ok but a little chewy. Sides were tiny. We ordered the Mexican corn salad which was about 3 bites. We also ordered a side of kettle chips thinking they were made in house but it was basically a small bag of Kettle Chips you can buy anywhere poured onto a plate. (All plates were paper plates as well.) We also had drinks (2 cocktails and a beer) which were decent. Our bill without tip was $106. Service was good and owner attentive but we were disappointed.

Went for a drink based on a recommendation. Ended up grabbing some food because everything coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled so good! Split the steak bruschetta with my husband and it was the best thing I ate all week! It was the last night of our trip, or I would have gone back daily.

Portebello Mushroom sandwich was good, the potato salad was so delicious that I could have made it my complete meal and be happy. The waiters were awesome they took very good care of me and all of those sitting close by. The lady sitting next to me said she visits frequently and recommends the Tavern often.

The best Focaccia, the miso butter and olive tapenade make it a must have. Great food quality and service. Our favorite place to eat in highlands.

Second time visiting. I will say I was a bit disappointed they didn’t have soup on the menu. I visited a couple years ago and I had the best asparagus soup I’ve ever had. I’ve been dreaming about it ever since. However, aside from that little blip, the service was amazing, food was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy. Will be back for sure.

Genuine staff and savory food. The chicken curry, Tuna, and salads with a protein are our favs — get the bacon app for a decadent treat. We’ve been a dozen times now and honestly it’s great every time. Getting a seat can be tough but it’s worth continuing to try.

Creative menu. Salads were pretty good. PLEASE NOTE, THE MENU CHANGES EVERY WEEK. if you like something from the Google pics, it may not be there on the menu when you visit. Small number of seats but that’s a good thing.

Chef seemed very interactive with customers. Send like lot of locals in the restaurant.

It is so cool they are using bamboo plates.
