What a wonderful dinner enjoying our last night in the Highlands. We had the Clay Pot Mutton the Butter Chicken and the Garlic Naan. We asked both to be spicy and they did not disappoint. The Butter Chicken was creamy and delicious and the heat grew. The Star was the Clay Pot Mutton! The gravy so rich and satisfying with great heat. Mutton was tender and flavorful. The little green chilis in both kicked the heat to next level but did not over power the dish. The Naan made in the Tandoori oven perfect. The unexpected value was the white wine at $15 MYR, good and basic at a great price. Staff are great, don’t miss this Highland spot.

Food was delicious and full of flavour! I had the palak paneer, which was less spicy. The cottage cheese was soft and the flavours were pleasantly rich. The garlic cheese naan had a great texture, though I would prefer a bit more cheese. The chicken tikka looked a little dry at first but was actually moist and tasty. The chicken briyani was fragrant with lovely spices and I especially enjoyed the tempeh chips.

Overall, it was a great experience. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available, and I really enjoyed dining outdoors as the warm and spicy dishes went perfectly with the cool Cameron Highlands weather. The place is quiet and peaceful. I will definitely come back again.

Great, authentic Indian food.
Lassi is superb with good serving size.
Servers are also Indian so make sure to speak basic English hehe
But they got our orders right so all good!
Tummy is full, pockets don’t hurt.

We had the clay pot mutton curry, tandoori chicken set and a roti chanai to share between 2 of us. All the food was delicious – the stand out dish was the clay pot mutton. Food was 5/5.

However the service wasn’t the best – I got ignored by waiting staff when I initially asked for a table. The service is better next door at Sri Brinchang restaurant. Service was 3/5.

Best place to have desi(Indian) food at Cameron Highlands. The taste and the quantity of the food, their service, the environment all were top notch. The staffs were mostly Indian or Bangladeshi, so even language barrier isn’t an issue. Every item we tasted were delicious, felt like home.

Best curry I’ve ever had! Came here 3 nights in a row and for breakfast twice. The only thing is the dishes come out at different times. Palak paneer and Masala was a highlight. Not one to miss!

Authentic Indian food and big portion! We had butter chicken ( best), butter chicken with veggies ( top notch), fish veggie rice combo ( top salty), mutton curry ( ok), bang with dipping ( vegan …) , and drinks— masala chai was too strong ( can’t sleep whole night lol) and ginger lemon tea was strong too~~~ not everyone would appreciate the drinks but they are very authentic Indian cousins !

Ate here for dinner when we arrived in Cameron highlands. Was so delicious, we came back the next day for lunch! Possibly the best curry I’ve ever had. Would recommend the chana masala in particular! Amazing value for food.

The food was very disappointing. I ordered the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala, and both dishes fell far below expectations, especially when compared to Sri Brinchang. The butter chicken was overwhelmingly filled with onions and lacked proper spices, while the chicken tikka masala had very little flavour. Although the service and staff were excellent, the quality of the food was unfortunately poor.
