Deelish! Great place for Friday fish. And Better & Bigger steak than RW Inn on Fridays for you partners of fish lovers. We tried Hot Pecan Salad because we had no idea what it was…. it was good. And 3 kinds of fried cheese curds!! Get out! Definitely set the bar high with these. Drinks good & fair priced. Soo busy and good they need to invest in an addition to the building for more dinning and kitchen space! This IS the place!

Food is always excellent. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Just wish they had a dining room with more low tables. It is really loud in the bar area. We will be back, though.

If you can’t accommodate a reservation at a specific time then don’t allow reservations. We got seated 5 minutes before our reservation time. Great!! Ordered with 20 mins of getting seated. Received our food an hour and a half after ordering!! Mind you we only had 9 people in our party. Food finally comes out and it’s just your average bar food. Nothing special to write home abt. Not to mention one of our orders was so messed up that we sent it back. They offered to re-make it but after nearly 2 hours into our reservation it wasn’t worth re-making. The only positive experience was our waitress McKayla. She was amazing!! We kept reassuring her this wasn’t her fault even though she kept apologizing. The waitstaff can’t control the kitchen. Safe to say we will not be making any more trips from Appleton for longs waits and average bar food.

Highland howies is a bar on Green Bay’s far east side. The speed, quality and great service more than makes this a great quality dinning experience you will be sure to return to. With Friday fish fry and melting steak, this food is easily a 10/10 every time.

We came here for dinner with family. We used to go to Highland Howie’s often. I’m not sure why we stopped. The food was absolutely amazing, the drinks were fantastic, and the service was great!
