After a cold white out hike, we came upon this place. Sign on door says smoking, cash only and 21 and older. ATM is inside. It was 12 pm or so and wanted drinks and food. I walked in with my water bottle and the bartender called me out on bringing my own drink in. Not sure if he was joking or not. The ordering of beverages were a bit entertaining, but being from California and coming to Redneck America, I would not expect anything else. “You have a Choice of Beer or Whiskey”. Don’t order a Whisky Old Fashioned. Burgers and fried food, but the fried food wasn’t that bad. After sitting there for a while the owner grew on us or vs versa. We were probably their only customer for the day, but we will be back. And they will remember us. I only gave the 4 stars, because no salad on the menu and he didn’t know how to make an old fashion, other than that, If you want a redneck dive bar experience, this is the place.

Never again!!!! Went there to celebrate a kid turning 21. Bartender gave him a hard time saying he didn’t look like the picture in his LEGAL ID. Then the same bartender said she’d give a customer 10 sec to figure out what went in a shot he ordered and she started counting down!!!???! Bar wasn’t even busy!! Seriously!???!! I’d give 0 stars if I could!! The owner guy was just as awful!!!! RUDE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!! Boycott Highland!!!
