AVOID THIS FRAUD.
last September i bought these shrimps from this shop. The owner handed me this packet and i trusted him.
However, when we tried to cook it, super bad smell came out with white jelly like stuff from the shrimps and we had to dump it in the dustbin.
To our utter disappointment, when we went for shopping to this shop later and showed these pictures, instead of being apologetic, the owner told me” you should have brought the fish back”. So they expect i will drive 100 miles back and forth for this return?!
Super arrogant service with expired items.
I will report this to authorities.

First butcher I’ve been to in Atlanta. Also the restaurant attached is very delicious. I had the equivalent of chicken biryani. Not everyone speaks English in the store but everyone is helpful.

We ordered Chicken pullaou and beef pullau and I showed the cashier the second picture from their pictures as well. They said 30mins…and no receipt. Said, he would remember me by face. Which is okay…although not professional. However, once I went back after half hour to pick it up. The cashier handed me two bags one with plain white rice and another with goat something saying that they sell this kost and we should try….since he handed two bags i though he gave extra goat something for us to try besides what we had ordered. We had driven 30+ mins to visit that place just because they said they serve “hand cut Zabiha Halal meat” instead of machine cut. The initial order was for one beef pullao and one chicken pullao in their menu like Roast Pullao which the cashier had confirmed with me. Though once we made it back home…so DISAPPOINTED. If I could I would order this place to be shut down and that cashier to be Fired and if owner then he needs to sell this business amd never do anything customer service business.

The food was very authentic and taste very great. However where it fails is the customer service. It took like 45 minutes for a cashier to come and take an order not just for me but others that were before me. I wanted to place a fresh order of chicken biryani but was given goat biryani instead and shoved out of the way. Others were able to place an order. I chose not to argue but wanted to see how the cashier would treat others. He proceeded to treat them exceptionally well. I can go to biryani point in Clarkston,Ga and get a better deal for the same price. Thank you so much for helping me and others know exactly where to ship for food. Glad I can leave a review, it’s power in it.

We ordered Morog polao and polao roast, but they provided basmati rice. When we just talked about that one of their staff members’ behavior was so bad. That was not the first time we visited that place; we had visited it multiple times but the way he behaved was only because we complained about their food! Never gonna visit that place inshallahha

We went to check out their famous beef tehari & morog polao! But unfortunately those were finished. So we ended up with plain rice, ruhi fish dopeaza, beef bhuna & daal! The foods were amazing. Had authentic Bangladeshi taste after a long long time. If anyone wants to try Bangladeshi cuisine, it’s a must go place! In Shaa Allah we’ll visit them again if we visit Atlanta

The Kacchi Goat Biryani at Al-Amin is a must try. I do like the Chicken Biryani however nothing can beat the taste, aroma and tenderness of the Kacchi goat biryani. Melts in your mouth. Saturday is perhaps the only day the store makes it from scratch. 1:30 PM ET great time to stop by that’s when the handi opens. Restrooms available. Adjacent grocery store. To go boxes available too. Totally recommend.

I recently visited this international grocery store and restaurant in Atlanta, and overall, it was a good experience. One of the highlights was the vibrant gathering of Bangladeshi people, which added to the authentic atmosphere. The store offers a variety of snacks, food, and fish that you can purchase. I would like to recommend a few brands that stood out to me: for Puffed rice (Muri), I enjoyed the G.R. Brand, and for Chanachur, both Sagar and Mejbani were great options. If you’re a fan of cookies, I highly suggest trying the Tip Salted biscuits.

In terms of fresh produce, they had a selection of vegetables such as bottle gourd (lau), malabar spinach (pui shak), and Eddoe (mukhi). However, I deducted one star from my rating because some of the items were not as fresh as I had hoped. On the bright side, the mangoes, likely imported from Mexico, were of good quality.

One area where this store could improve is its Point of Sale system. It would be beneficial for them to update it with online ordering capabilities and a dedicated app. I noticed that other similar grocery stores in the area use ORO POS and Menugreat, allowing customers to place orders online. This upgrade would provide added convenience for shoppers.

The staff at the store were incredibly helpful and accommodating. They were willing to process chicken, beef, and fish without any additional charge, which was a nice gesture. While tipping is not mandatory, I would recommend showing your appreciation for their service.

Don’t miss the opportunity to dine at their restaurant, especially for their Biriyani and Beef Tehari. Additionally, if you’re a fan of Hilsha fish, I highly recommend trying their hilsha fish fry instead of cooking it yourself. Lastly, before leaving, make sure to indulge in their delicious milk tea.

Overall, this international grocery store and restaurant in Atlanta offers a great variety of products and a welcoming atmosphere. With a few updates, such as online ordering options, it has the potential to enhance the overall customer experience

This hidden gem has delicious Bangladeshi food that was well worth the drive and wait. Their Tehari was outstanding. We also had their fuchkas, samosas, biriyani and fish dishes which were all finger licking good! We went back there 2 days in a row when we were in Atlanta. This is attached to pretty good Bangladesh grocery store that carried everything from fresh halal meat and Bangladeshi fish to spices, packaged food and sweets. This is our go-to place for delicious Bangladeshi food and Bangladeshi groceries whenever we go to Atlanta!
