We got lucky snagging the last table early New Year’s Eve without a reservation and received a warm welcome. Dinner was delicious – the scallops, lasagna and mahi mahi special. The restaurant was happily busy but we weren’t made to feel rushed. Thank you! We hope to return.

My family and I dined at High Thyme for dinner last night and everything was amazing! Shout out to Emily and our server, Savanna for being so nice and engaging!
We started off with a soft shell crab over grits for our appetizers and wow, what a great choice! It was so fresh and tasted delicious through and through. For our entrees we had the tuna romaine salad, the lamb meatloaf with potatoes, the bone in pork chop with fingerling potatoes and the lasagna. We all loved everything on our plates and each other’s plates! This was not our first time here and definitely will not be our last.
Thank you High Thyme for a wonderful dinner that brought smiles to all of our faces!

Fab experience – staff was very friendly, food was delicious. Our faves were the scallops and the risotto. So nice to sit out on the porch. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable place for dinner in the area!

Only “issues” I had were: food is expensive & there are limited options on the menu. I got the “cheapest” entree available on the menu, and it was their shrimp & crab cake, which was $23.
Full transparency, if I’m going to spend this kind of money on food, it better be at a 5 star restaurant that has at least twice the number of options on the menu.
All & all, I was satisfied with experience at this establishment, and I hope that they continue to achieve success.

Every once in a while you “find” a great place that has been right in front of you all along. High Thyme is one of those places! We came in for dinner for the first time recently and were blown away and couldn’t believe it has been an option for us for so many years and we just have been missing out. The food was incredible, portions generous, service friendly and knowledgeable and the wine was very reasonably priced with great selection. We arrived right at 5 and the dining area had plenty of tables available but it appeared as though the bar may have opened up a bit earlier because every stool was already filled. By 5:30 the dining room was also packed (this was a Saturday night in between Christmas and New Year’s for reference). All in all we are thrilled to find another great spot on Sullivan’s and can’t wait to go back. Definitely aspiring regulars.

Our first time at High Thyme certainly did not disappoint! From the second we entered the door we were greeted with the most fabulous smile and warm welcome. We had to wait a little but were seated at the bar and the bartender suggested the best bottle of wine! The appetizer special was out of this world. And the famous lasagna was perfection. Christy & Emily made our experience so special and we will definitely be back!!!

The Hungry Detective and Special Agent Deirdre had a great experience at High Thyme after the Radio Bomb show…if I could give 6 stars I would because they always deliver and go above and beyond the call of duty!!! Sit at the bar with Savannah serving up awesome cocktails and five star service…Savannah knows her stuff!!
Atmosphere: Super cool locals vibe with some almost famous TV stars.
Food: We had the world famous Seared Scallops and Italian Sausage Ditalini…absolutely cooked to perfection and good tasting.
VERDICT: Guilty as sin for being next level good…Good food brings good people together.

Stopped here for a light supper. The food is outstanding. We had the curried scallop appetizer, very tasty. I had the crab ad shrimp cake on a Chinese cabbage ad arugula salad. Crab cake was on of the best I’ve had. My wife had an arugula salad also excellent. Even the key lime pie was terrific. We would have loved to try other dishes but our waistlines wouldn’t permit

This place is amazing! The hostess was so friendly and we were seated immediately. We really loved the ambience of the patio dining. Our waitress was awesome. The food was incredible! I had the pan seared grouper over Gouda grits with sweet corn and Lima beans. It was delicious. My husband ordered the lasagna and said it was great too. By far the best food we had during a week long vacation in the Charleston area. Highly recommend!

Fantastic meal from start to finish, great service and welcoming of our 2.5 year old. We got a special shrimp and clam appetizer, I got the lasagna which was fanatic with great flavor of the meat and not to heavy of a dish. My wife got the salmon which she eats a ton of and said it was honestly one of the best salmon dishes she has ever had
