Great little place smack dab in the middle of Shelton. The food was great, priced good, but service was very slow. The waitress was very nice, but we were in a corner and she seemed to keep forgetting about us. Good thing we weren’t in any hurry! I’d recommend, bit don’t sit in a corner!

Took my family there for the first time. It was great. They had apparently just lowered prices and honestly, the food was amazing while also being less expensive than most fast food places anymore. The climber burger was awesome and my wife loved the pulled pork sandwich (only $11) and both of my moderately picky children loved the loaded mac and cheese.

Great food! In-house brewing and
Happy faces…
Nice spot for live music, a small arcade area, substantial space and seating.
Well supported by the community and can be quite busy at times.

This place is a true gem, found it a few months ago while I was in Shelton doing business, this place is definitely worth checking out! Especially if you’re in the mood for a great one of a kind burger, you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!
The portions are great sized, fresh, quick and service has always been one of a kind, they make you feel right at home!
Kid friendly, they have a good selection of sodas, and the beer selection is fantastic, something there to drink for everyone.
I recommend the Arcadia Amber or the Beastman Porter if you’re into the darker beers.
The food is amazing I’ve only had the bridge burger and the blue cheese burger and hands down is the best burger I’ve ever tasted.
I highly recommend you make the stop in here and check it out especially for a great burger and a cold beer that tastes really good.

To the staff at High Steel…..whatever you’re doing keep it up, the food, the service and beers are fantastic and the hospitality is one of a kind, keep it up, we will be continuing to come back!

We went in on a Sunday evening with family from out of town (Las Vegas). There was 11 of us, and the service we received totally won over our out of town family. From the moment we walked in, staff was amazing. Our waitress said the littles could play at their own table if we wanted, and they loved that. The drinks were fun, and not just ones with alcohol. They had so many fun mock-tails too. Serving sides were great, food tasted delicious. They have games for at the tables, large jenga near the tables, an arcade that we all spent a ton of time in.
10/10. Thank you high steel (forever Smokin mo’s to me). You helped create a great memory ❤️

5 out of 5 all around. Stopped by on the way through town on a slow January Saturday. The service was over the top good and they were so accommodating with our 3yr old – who thought all the games and the gazebo area were magical!!!
My husband enjoyed the loaded Mac, the yeast rolls can’t be beat.
So happy to see such a cool business that is also high quality!

I ordered food to go. Catfish tacos, fries, and hush puppies. The fries were actually tater tots. They had been cooked so long parts of them were too hard to chew. The hush puppies were actually black. The tacos were inedible. The tortillas were cold and not heated at all. When they put the warm and wet ingredients on the the tortillas fell to pieces. I tried eating the fish out of the taco but I didn’t even really trust the food at that point. It seemed to be prepared by someone who had very little knowledge about food quality. My GPS took me to an empty parking lot across the street. I called to find out where it actually was and when the call was over they didn’t actually hang up the phone and I heard them making fun of me for several min. I’d never been there before and the very small sign is not lit up. I did take a picture of the hush puppies but there’s not way for me to post a picture with my review. I was seriously disappointed to spend $40 on food I couldn’t even eat.

The atmosphere was amazing its art deco / American Legion authentic vibe.

The staff were fun and engaging.

Normally when the beer is really good the food is kind of just, eh… but here it’s so not the case!

I got the Banh Mi sandwich and my partner got buffalo chicken nachos.

I loved Vietnam, explored the country north to south.

The Banh Mi sandwich gave me Vietnam street food pho taste in the meat with the pickled veggies and a bun that took you straight to a high end baseball field. It was the biggest wow moment in dining I’d had in a while.

The tater tots were amazing, not greasy, crunchy, not overly salty, just perfect!

I’m going on about the food but the IPA was deep in flavor and yet drank lightly. Dangerous! Haha!

Highly recommend you go and try this amazing place! It’s the trifecta of lovely staff, amazing food, and fantastic micro brews.

Haven’t seen it’s equal in along time!
