Date night with my wife, I ordered the Niman Ranch Double Cut Pork Chop with Huckleberry Gastrique and it was life changing! Perfectly cooked and flavorful.
Also ordered the lemon cheesecake and Dutch apple pie crepe for dessert. Both were really delicious and worth ordering again, but the Dutch apple is only a seasonal dessert. So order it if you get the chance!

High Steaks at Thunder Valley Casino delivered a refined and memorable dining experience. The service was truly impeccable—attentive, professional, and perfectly timed. From the moment we sat down, the staff made us feel well cared for.
One of the highlights was the bread presentation and amuse-bouche. The selection included five or six types of bread with accompanying spreads, which was a thoughtful and satisfying touch—especially appreciated when you’re hungry and waiting for your entrée. It really set the tone for the meal and helped elevate the overall experience.
The food was excellent, with pricing that, while slightly high, was in line with other upscale casino restaurants. The quality absolutely justified the cost.
My only critique was with the seafood platter. One of the oysters was noticeably undersized—not a naturally small variety, but more like a baby oyster compared to the others. At $80 for a platter, I’d expect everything to be carefully checked before leaving the kitchen. That said, when I pointed it out, my server quickly replaced it without hesitation.
It’s a small detail, but one worth noting, as not every guest may feel comfortable speaking up. With just a bit more attention to plating consistency, the experience would be flawless. Still, I’d gladly return—High Steaks hits the mark on service, ambiance, and overall quality.

Absolutely love High Steaks. Great ambience. Super friendly staff. Michelle was our waitress and she was very attentive. It’s a very romantic and relaxing restaurant. Food is always amazing. If you’re looking for an upscale, classy place this is it. They have a full spacious bar as well.

First timer. First of all, didn’t expect how good this place was and even more amazed we were able to walk in for a table as well. I have to say this restaurant, both their staffs and food were great. The only thing was their surf and turf cost $175.00, didn’t know prior nor was told until seeing the bill after. Overall a great dinner.

Our reservation was at 5pm, we arrived at 4:50pm and were seated right away. We received menus, a variety bowl of delicious breads and glasses of ice water. The drink menu is separate and has many options. While waiting for our drinks we were served a complementary goat cheese sprinkled with bacon bits from the chef. The taste was good, the texture is that of tofu. As a vegetarian, I thought my food options would be limited. I ordered the “fork and knife’s Caesar salad which does include white anchovies so I did request those be excluded. The Brussel sprouts are AMAZING. The macaroni and cheese could be better, I was looking forward to it because it has gouda cheese. The creamy spinach reminds me of creamy corn. For me, it’s too much cream or maybe overcooked spinach. The gold Yukon pureed potatoes are delicious also, especially paired with the Brussel sprouts. The half chicken is said to be very delicious due to the flavor, fall off the bone meat, and great presentation. It looked really delicious. I would highly recommend trying any of the shareables because they’re fantastic. The service is great, the food is amazing, and there is plenty of parking in the parking garage.

Always delicious. We used to eat here about once a month, but now on come on special occasions. Service and style remain the same.
The seafood platter appetizer is a lot more expensive than I remember. I think I used to pay about 40 gor it, now it’s $78. Service is always impeccable and friendly. I just realized there is outdoor seating and would love to do that. I quit smoking in 2019, and the walk into the restaurant is like walking through a forest fire. An outdoor entrance would be amazing.

We would like to thank everyone at High Steaks at TV for a great experience celebrating our wedding anniversary. We were greeted with “happy anniversary” from everyone we spoke with and were treated really well. The restaurant itself is very chic and they have great chairs. I’d like to add that our host that sat us at first was going to seat us in a booth, and she pulled our whole table out for us to scoot on in there, which was a nice touch. We did ask to sit at a normal table as we have bad backs, and she happily sat us at a table. Our server Orest was knowledgeable, friendly and prompt, and if something was off, he made sure to make up for it thoroughly. We had our bread spread which had a a wide variety of rolls and lavosh, (I loved the pumpkin seed lavosh and cheese/jalapeno rolls). We then were treated to a turkey pate and pickled cranberry amuse bouche, which was a welcoming touch that made us feel VVIP. We split the rest of our meal which consisted of the sweet corn&lobster chowder (super rich and luxurious, 1 bowl split was more than enough for 2), the seared rougie foie gras (wish it was cooked a little more mid-rare, but appreciated that they split this for us and plated it, really good huckleberry gastrique), and for our main entree, we split the bone-in ribeye which was sliced and cooked to perfection and served with a tellicherry peppercorn/beef tallow sauce which was so so decadent and Yukon gold potato puree (so buttery, so smooth). Our soup, entree and side were actually so large, we ended up taking some home. We were then treated to a complementary celebration dessert! It was a raspberry mousse eclair-like dessert encased in chocolate and sat next to a candle just for the special occasion. We felt super taken cared of! We wanted to try a little more dessert and ordered the pineapple tepache, which was super different and very interesting. If you’re into fermented fruits, this is something that might be right up your alley. The pineapple tepache did take some time as they had to make a component freshly for us as they were out, but we were treated to some super tasty chocolate toffee while we waited. High five Orest, we appreciate the love! Overall, this was such an amazing experience and we would love to come back again at some point, even just for desserts and apps, I think it would still be a fun time! Thanks for taking care of us!

Wow, wow, wowsers! I cannot stress how appreciative I am with the level of service received at this steakhouse located inside Thunder Valley Resort and Casino. I was both surprised and taken aback by how attentive, knowledgeable and wonderful the service was.
We dined there in celebration of a birthday and we were all pleased with everything from the appetizers to the main courses.
Thanks for stopping by our table to sing in Italian Stephen! Lance, our server was great and attentive throughout our meal service. My niece loved every minute of being spoiled and having the spotlight on her. We appreciate everyone going above and beyond to make the night extra special for her and our family.

Had the petite filet and the Yukon gold potatoes puree. Cooked perfectly and the potatoes were like mashed potatoes with horseradish blended in. The assortment of bread and amazung butter was a nice start. Service was great and wine corkage very reasonable.
