Been wanting to get to this place for a while. The ice cold root beer in a frosty mug was amazing. We had burgers Andrea were shocked at how big they were. The onion rings were enough for 3-4 people. Excellent food. A guy seated next to us has fried green tomatoes with crawfish and it looked fabulous!!! Look forward to trying other items next time.

The food was wonderful but the service was NOT! We came from Hammond to try the place out and I definitely wouldn’t make a trip out of the way again. The food was fresh and tasted good, but the elderly lady that works the counter upfront taking orders is extremely rude and just messed the whole vibe for my family. We honestly felt like a bother, I think they should get some new workers, because we were not the only ones in the building that felt this way!

Im going to make this short. The food was great and the place was clean. Unlike the Frost Top in Baton Rouge which is absolutely disgusting and dirty. Thanks to this location I will continue to stop at Frost Top. This location is excellent. Avoid the Baton Rouge location at all costs.

The size of the burger was great and the onion rings are the best I have ever had. Root beer super cold. My issue is with the meat of the burger. Not sure if it’s low quality or what the issue is but the meat just didn’t taste right. Sucks cuz the rest was awesome.

This place is the OG of burger joints! I just love their burgers and fries. This time, we stopped to get some rootbeer floats. Mmmm soooo good on a hot day! I wish they were open late, but it’s worth a special trip to get my fix. Go get yourself some happiness in a mug today!!

This was an interesting stop, but a good one. We came through not long after the last Hurricane’s had hit and nearly missed the place because the Hurricane took out their sign. Happy we were able to find it and stop though, ended up being a really solid lunch.

Chas got the “Crawfish Monica Pasta” and I got the “Hamburger Steak Po-Boy”. This sandwich was not like any other Po-Boy I had ever had. The burger had a TON of onion flavor (which I love) and was almost shaped into a meatloaf style brick. The roll for the Po-Boy was crusty in all the right spots and soft as well. This was topped with a really delicious hot gravy, but then also came with Mayo, lettuce, tomato, and grilled onion. Truly a blend of hot and cold ingredients on the sandwich, but it all worked so well. If you’re worried about getting messy, do NOT order this sandwich. It was a slop show, but it was fanastic.

I tried the Crawfish Monica also and that was also very good. Very similar to a cream or béchamel with tons of chunks of crawfish tail. The flavor was good and the portion size was solid.

Did I mention they make their own root beer and even have a diet option? I try desperately not to drink my calories so I got the diet and it was really good.

We will definitely go back here again! Frostop Drive in – Didn’t Suck!

Amazing root beer floats! Don’t get me started on the crawfish balls! Ask for the root beer float frenzy. They make it blended and it’s so good

The food was just okay. It was nothing that would make me go out of my way to visit again. We originally stopped because of the physical appearance. Reminds me of an old drive in hamburger place.
