A great lunch at High Side! The buffalo chicken dip was fantastic with the wavy potatoes the dish is served with! The dip was delicious (wish they had a larger option). The smash burger was cooked perfectly and the bun was nice and fluffy. The mac and cheese was great too! The noodles were cooked perfect, and the cheese wasnt too heavy or overwhelming but well balanced and creamy. They have a lot of great seating options for everyone, inside and outside, and tvs for sports. An extremely friendly staff! Great drink options!

Was in town for an over night stop with my sons. We were craving a good burger. So we each had the smash burgers and man they didn’t disappoint. I got mine with American cheese and onion straws. The fries were really good too. My youngest got the kids slider and was plenty enough food to quench his massive hunger from hiking all day.
Wish we could have sat on the patio, but it was later on Sunday and was closed for the evening. It amazes me all the mule deer that walk around the town, we even had 2 that were watching us from outside while eating.

Allyson is amazing, helpful, friendly. Johnny the owner greeted us, very friendly. Amazing food both healthy and fatty girl foods. Now let’s talk about the over the top alcohol drinks. Love this little gem.

We loved our evening here! We sat on the patio in January and were totally comfortable with the temperature the heaters kept it at. Everyone in my party was happy with their orders. Food was great quality and portions were healthy – not too much, not too little. Service was as warm as the temps!

Stopped in here for some wings, sandwich and a beer on a Thursday night and it was quite pleasant. Service was good, wings were great and the patio was unbeatable. Watching the kayakers with a nice pint and some wings was relaxing. Would stop back here again.

One of the best burgers I’ve ever had! This place was packed with people and a bit loud with the live music on a Friday night, but there was still plenty of seating available.
The service took a minute to acknowledge me (as it’s “seat yourself” seating), but once they did, they were extremely attentive- when I ordered right away and asked for the bill, they took the hint that I was in a bit of a rush- and my food came out in like 5 minutes!
The High Side Burger I got was fantastic- perfectly seasoned with plenty of melty cheese, well cooked- truly one of the best burgers I’ve ever had.
I’m looking forward to coming back next time I’m in Salida- and when I’m hopefully in less of a rush!
