We chose Desserts by Dana for our wedding cake because they were part of our venue’s all inclusive package. We also had cake tastings at two other bakeries but Desserts by Dana’s cake options were moist and not too sweet like the others. We chose Mexican Chocolate with White Chocolate Mousse for 3 of our layers, with the last layer being vanilla cake & Bavarian cream with strawberries. They were both delicious on our wedding day! We would say that communication could have been better, as we discussed the design of the cake via email but it was hard to get a sense of what was doable with buttercream without paying additional costs. We also gave instructions for placement of a cat cake topper but when we came in store to hand over the cake topper, it almost seemed like the staff had no idea what we were talking about. On the wedding, the placement was correct though and they even made it seem like our cat was taking a bite out of the cake – very cute!

I placed an order online at the Desserts by Dana website. It was easy to place the order and pay by credit card. I sent my partner to pickup the order which went without incident. The five items I ordered looked tasty. The Tiramisu was excellent! The Reese Cupcake was moist and decadent with the fresh frosting and Reese cup atop it tasted outstanding. The Red Velvet Cupcake was moist and tasty; but, the frosting was too stiff for my liking. The Vanilla Cheesecake was pleasingly excellent. While the Creamsicle Cupcake was not to my liking at all. I certainly recommend this location.

This cake was AMAZING! We instantly fell in love with Desserts by Dana on our first trip to do our cake tasting and have not been able to get enough since. We stop into the bakery every chance we get to pick up a sweet treat! Dana was polite and really helped us realize our vision of what we wanted from our wedding cake. While so many wedding cakes can feel bland, our guests raved about the flavors of this cake. Cannot recommend Dana highly enough!

I’m torn with this cute little place. I have had several different desserts from here and they look gorgeous. The cakes, cupcakes, and anything with icing is so well designed. They look like works of art but the taste is just not there. The cake I am reviewing in the pics was beautiful but lacked any flavor. It was suppose to be red velvet but lacked the velvet. In addition, much like several of the cupcakes, it was dry. Freshness of the desserts might be the issue and if you ate them as soon as they were made could solve the dry issue.

When I tell you, the visitors were lined up to even get a bite if this cake, would you believe me? This cake was so yummy, perfectly decorated as we wanted too. We asked for a simple design, and they did just that and beyond! Amazing amazing amazing!

I had cupcakes in December for my daughter’s birthday and in Feb I brought a Strawberry short cake for my twins birthday. I love the cupcakes and the Strawberry cake was very good my son ate all of what I had left in refrigerator which was more then half!
