My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place and were welcomed with sweet smiles and warm hospitality. We order our food, which was politely delivered, and we started eating. MIND BLOWN!!! This food was AMAZING!!! My 6’4/260 lb man can put down some food and I have NEVER witnessed his eyes roll back in his head and not have words to describe the food. The potato salad, you better start slapping your momma, because that S*** was good. We went back and order a 2nd round of food and were ready to eat the plates.

Just happened upon this place by accident while visiting a friend in Mississippi. The ribs were excellent. Service was excellent. Prices fair . A little hole in the wall restaurant in a small town with food that matches the fanciest of places.

It’s really good barbecue and I didn’t get the large but I did get full. I wish the sauce was thicker but it was tasty. The staff was very friendly and they took care of us. I wasn’t sure where to park because it’s an old gas station. The hours are wed- sat. I don’t think they are open past 7 but would have to check again. I’d eat there again. It had a hometown feel.

Ribs fall off the bone and moist too. Tried the sweet and reg sauce I liked them mixed. The baked beans were amazing highly recommend the stop well worth trying. The slaw was great no complaints on it at all. Definitely getting it again. If you’re going to try everything I’d try the “Big Q” definitely will have some for later b4 pic added. I’m stuffed. -delish

One of the best bbq restaurants that I have been to. The ribs are so delicious and well prepared and are extremely affordable. I wish that I could have found this place earlier so I didn’t have to waste my money at Rib Shack. The ribs here are just on another level. The owner is also very friendly. She went out of her way to make sure that I have a great dining experience.

Friendly staff and fast service but their ribs were disappointing. Pressure cooked so they were tender, but not enough time on the grill to render out fat and lacked in flavor other than the pineapple BBQ sauce.

I love eating here, or picking up BBQ on my way home after a busy day. It is hands down, the best pulled pork bbq I’ve ever had. It’s so moist and NEVER dry, with just the right amount of smokey flavor. James at High on the Hog has also catered two of our church events where we ordered bbq for 100 people and even with his restaurant busy, he had everything lined up, fresh, hot and ready for us when we arrived. I absolutely love High on the Hog.
