All the dishes are amazing — the lobster dish and the Angus beef with mushrooms were absolutely phenomenal. We’ve tried several dishes over multiple visits, and every time the experience has been excellent. Gustavo is by far the best waiter — incredibly knowledgeable about the entire menu and truly takes the time to make the experience feel special and memorable. Roberto also does a wonderful job taking care of the whole restaurant as a manger, it’s clear he genuinely cares about his customers and their experience.

This restaurant is AMAZING. The food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere very romantic and the violinist was the perfect touch.
It was my birthday and they provided a special dessert.
I had the gnocchi w spicy sauce and my husband had chicken parm.
Both exceptional and the staff as well. Would definitely go back again!

We stayed at the Marriott Cancun all-inclusive next door, and wanted to treat ourselves on our last evening. I cannot state enough about how exceptional the evening was. Absolutely gorgeous inside, wonderful staff, and amazing food. The extra touches are the reason I give it five stars. Fresh made pastas. A mozzarella bar. A live violinist. A palate cleanser between appetizer and entree, and even coming by with a selection of sliced lemons, limes and cucumbers for your water, which they then rim your glass with before placing inside your water glass. This restaurant and its staff are top notch!

As many times as I’ve stayed at the JW Marriott, this was my first visit to Gustino’s. Boy have I been missing out! I had the best rib eye steak and caprese. Try the “Madonna” drink (I had 2) – outstanding! They make the pasta as you walk in which is so fun to see. The staff top it all off. So great and accommodating – they were fantastic! I will definitely be back here. Worth every penny!

We were excited to try this restaurant as it was on property and they boasted how the pastas are all made fresh on site. The service was terrible. We never know where our server was and when we ordered a bottle of wine we had to keep getting up and walking to where they put the bottle to get it and pour it ourselves. The shrimp were very good but the lasagna was terrible and we didn’t eat it. The pizza was too thick and the kids did not like it. The violinist was painful with constant shredding of the strings in a bad way. Overall a terrible experience and we strongly suggest the management takes lessons from the staff at Club 91 who executed service flawlessly!

Many restaurants within a hotel sometimes don’t get the credit they deserve. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food at Gustino. We’ve been here a couple of times and have enjoyed every dish we’ve ordered. The service staff were great, although the host stand could be a bit more accommodating. We requested a table with a better view; but, they were unable to give it to us, even though it was never occupied during our entire dining period. Still, a good place to dine. I’m sure the snafu with the host was an anomaly.

Hands down the best…wished we had Gustino in Kentucky. The hospitality is out of this world. I ordered the filet with mushroom risotto and my husband got fettuccini Alfredo. The food was amazing!! The chef came out to our table because she noticed we had been there twice that week. She thanked us for coming. She is an amazing chef. The Manger is very personable. We need more of that in our country. I posted a pic of our Tiramisu…which was delish. I forgot photos of our dinner. I was too excited. If you haven’t been there…you should go now!

We had the lobster stuffed pasta, sea bass, and fettuccini carbonara. The service here was exceptional and the ambience is spectacular with a live musician. The complimentary focaccia here was excellent but it was likely the best thing here and it set high expectations that the other foods didn’t meet. The sea bass was a bit bland but it was cooked well. The lobster stuffed pasta was bitter and swimming in a sea with butter with super overcooked lobster. The fettuccine carbonara was okay in flavor, but the pasta could’ve been cooked for an extra minute, but that may be personal preference. Another thing, all the portions were small. Overall, I don’t think we’ll be returning given we have limited time here. If it wasn’t for the friendly staff and incredible ambience, this rating would be lower.
