Me and my husband love to come to the High & Dry Grill. Great customer service, drinks and the food are reasonable prices. The view is amazing. My hubby had a beer and I had a classic margarita and some chips and dips.

If you want a beach bar right on the sand and you want a tiki bar vibe that’s what you get here! It’s one of the best beach bars in the area, and really the only one in Dunedin. It’s a great place to watch the sunset and enjoy a beer or wine and a decent burger. Don’t expect fine dining and you’ll be fine here, there’s sand on the floor and it’s an open air place with no air conditioning, but that makes the beer taste better! The kayak and paddle board rental is attached to the business so you can make a day out of this. If you want a genuine beach bar experience and some sand on your toes you will love this place! If you’re in Dunedin you owe it to yourself to visit this place and enjoy a drink at sunset, especially if you’re leaving the next day to go back to the snow and cold. 5 stars for High and Dry!

No Tolerance for Outside Diet-Friendy Food
Been coming here for 6+ years and always enjoyed the food, drink, and atmosphere. Today, having brought my family with dietary restrictions we purchased drinks and a sandwich for myself. Sadly, both my wife and 74 year old mother were reminded that “this was not a picnic pavilion” and they could not eat thier gluten free / dairy free acai bowls we had brought. Not sure who the dude was since he didn’t introduce himself. Maybe a manager, maybe the owner, don’t know he never took the professional courtesy of introducing himself. Just dark shades, early 50s, attempting to take an authoritative voice to me and my family. Where understandable this approach was very discompassionate and certainly was not framed as a let’s understand the situation together type of attitude. In this day and time you think there would be more understanding of situations where dietary restrictions are not addressed with their in-house menu. A local gem but not always understanding of their clientele. UPDATE: note the response from the owner. Class act all the way. *Sarcasm

Bloom & Bite Florida
This is a cute little spot that’s perfect for a quick bite or a couple of beers, all with a peaceful beach view. My husband and I stopped by for lunch and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. He ordered the catfish sandwich, which was absolutely delicious—fresh, moist fish with a perfectly crisp batter. I tried the Polish sausage with German potato salad, which was disappointing. While the sausage was tasty, it didn’t seem to be an authentic Polish sausage (I am half Polish and have had my fair share of Polish food…lol) and the potato salad was just okay—not something I’d order again. The Pierogi Grill in Clearwater has authentic kielbasa as does The Keilbasa Bus/Food truck. That said, our server was fantastic—very attentive and friendly.
Overall, the service was excellent, and we’d definitely return for the view, that catfish and the great hospitality.

First time. It was great. I had cheese quesadilla, one son had catfish sandwich and another a grilled chicken sandwich. We had Sangria, a sugar rimmed margarita, a draft, and a rum punch. Everything was great. Atmosphere and service was amazing.

Extremely convenient place. Good bar, food, hand-ground sausage. Service was really great and the view was spectacular. I ended up with a fiery sausage sandwich that was just dry and on the bun. The sausage was good, but it really wasn’t that hot. Pretzel bites with cheese and bacon and scallions was a good appetizer. The shaved ice is more like a snowcone, which was good, and refreshing because it was warm out. Staff were great.

Very cool place to watch the sun set. Party of four sat at a beach table. Very friendly wait staff. I had the hot Italian sausage with onion and cheese. Others had the large piece of fried catfish. The homemade chips are a must order.
