I’ve visited Chakhona many times, and every time I have the opportunity, I come back to enjoy their delicious food. This time I ordered the borscht, chicken kebab, and pickled vegetables — everything was amazing! Total food coma for my stomach, in the best way possible.
The staff are always friendly, and while the atmosphere is simple, you come here for the food — and it never disappoints. Highly recommended, 100%!

Terrific Uzbeki restaurant right off 80. Food was excellent – plov, chebureki and samsa were delicious (sauce the chebureki and samsa were served with was INSANE, definitely order extra!) we also got pelmeni and the beef soup which were really yummy. Meat is halal. Highly recommend for travelers looking for something wonderfully unexpected and conveniently located!

I couldn’t believe my luck to find such an authentic delicious Uzbek food in the middle of Petersburg Ohio. I was on a work trip from Vancouver Canada and unfortunately we don’t have places like that in my city. I will be going to Chayhana every work trip I take here from now on. I brought a co worker who also loved sampling all the delicacies. Thank you for this awesome experience! And it’s extremely affordable too!

Back at this restaurant again — and wow, the taste is truly unforgettable! The lamb chops are just as juicy and flavorful as I remembered. Perfectly grilled with a rich, smoky flavor. The fries are golden and crispy, and the fresh salad balances it all out perfectly.The bread is warm, soft, and honestly addictive. Everything feels fresh and made with care.
This place never disappoints. Highly recommended — I’ll keep coming back!

Great food i had a good time eating here the waiter is verry respectfull verry good food i have marked this place for future visits if i lived here i would drive 5 hours for there lamb chops there soft and really tasy dumpling were really good with there homemade sour cream i added a little saracha and it blended verry nicely there tea has really good flavour also i used the mens bathroom and there were cologne bottles for use please if you go here dont steal them cause thats a really nice gesture that they offer and they are really humble people central asian style food uzbekistan i was greeted very proptly and was treated verry nice even though i do not share the same religion or come from the same ethnic background as them i said i was american and he didnt mind at all i know some places they will make you feel like an outsider but not this place they were verry happy to serve me and when i told them the food was great they smiled really big

Unfortunately, i was there on the way my traveling, I have ordered 2 entrees, and left this place hungry… It was chicken kebab and rice with chicken because all chicken was undercooked and undercooked rice + very dry. Bread was not fresh. No sauce and even no ketchup served. I am a cooker and I know how food should be. Visibly looks nice, but I don’t recommend you this restaurant. Very big disappointment! Additionally FLIES were flying NON Stop on the food…. So it’s unsanitary conditions…

Was told there were no potatoes so I couldn’t get fries or potatoes with mushrooms! As my wife and I were about to leave a guy who came in 40 minutes after us received fries and potatoes with mushrooms? Was really hoping to be surprised with Uzbek food, instead we got an Americas version! Ok but not great! No tip
