Absolutely unbelievable. First of all, we were not greeted by anyone. We had to go up and ASK to be served, even though we were the only ones at the bar and the only ones in the entire place. Now I understand why we were the only ones there. Once we were finally served, the bartender was rude too. After 2 vodka crans, our bill was $65 (we are Canadian so I actually paid $90CAD). Absolutely horrific. Nowhere did they have prices posted, and if they did, I certainly wouldn’t have come in and ordered something worth almost $100CAD. Not to mention the $10+ service charge. And for what? The horrible service we received? I sincerely warn everyone against this place unless you want to be treated like scum and gouged out of all your money.

We decided to try this place after the marathon for dinner and a cocktail not realizing it was basically like a club type vibe with bottle service. I’m not from the area so I had no idea what this part of town was like and basically all of the establishments on this street are exactly the same. Super loud music with a small food menu extensive bar, menu and bottle service. Don’t think I’d come back, but if that’s the vibe you’re looking for you’d definitely have a good time here.

We stopped in Saturday afternoon because the bar next door was full. Thought it was weird that we were the only ones but when we got our bill for our drinks we saw why. $24 for two “well” drinks!! PLUS a $5.38 “service charge”!!! With all the other bar options in Old Scottsdale that do not add a ridiculous service charge. I would recommend avoiding this place.

I was a loyal hifi supporter until I was kicked out because it was too packed and I couldn’t move. The security guard told me to move in or leave and all I said was that I cannot move and he continued to kick me out. I go so often that the guard at the door recognizes us. I am nothing but pleasant and tip very well but since your guard decided to be on a power trip on a damn holiday (Halloween) I refuse to return. Be better.

After needing to use the restroom, their one stall in the men’s restroom was out of order. At the same time they had 5 different stalls open in the women’s restroom. My friend told me the women’s restroom was empty and that I could go in there. Immediately after going in there, someone starts banging on the door yelling for everyone to get out because “there might be a man in here.” Instead of being accommodating of diversity for someone who appears more as a masculine identity, they immediately got security. Not only did security bang on the stall door until I got out, they assaulted me, grabbed me, dragged me towards the door, ripped off my Halloween costume mask, and told me to get out. I did not get a chance to enjoy my $30 drinks because of this, despite spending $180 between my group in drinks.

They used to be super chill and welcoming to all… I’ve gone out many times over the past 6 months or so with clown makeup and fun designs painted on my face and was always encouraged and complimented all night long… idk what’s happened over the past month but the discrimination on makeup is insane… this is America and if I want to express myself with fun and creative makeup that should be no problem… they still let me in this last time but let me know they will turn me away next time and wouldn’t have let me in If it was a weekend.. honestly the security has gone down hill… personally the only thing that will get me back is the bingo… I’m over the aggressive security that I’ve seen make people bribe them to have them let them in bc of electronic ids or no ids at all and I’m not down for an environment that it’s discriminating in any capacity… and like really guys you are gonna get picky about the makeup someone has on??? But face tattoos are totally fine? Makes no sense to me… the only reason I put 2 stars is because the people running bingo night do fantastic job and are so sweet (they even called me up to participate even to I had “clown makeup” on.. super inclusive on their part)

Please be aware that our group of friends did not check the reviews before visiting this place, and we deeply regret it. We were unaware of the “service charges” and that bartenders prefer tips. Discover cards are not accepted here (see the photo for reference). Additionally, we were disappointed by the excuses given and the fact that our drinks had no alcohol, yet we were charged for ice and soda.

Recently went to this establishment. The security out front told me I wasn’t allowed to enter due to my camo pants (which I’ve worn before) unless I tipped him 20$ or bought a table. Save your money walk to el hefe and get a table there. At least they treat you like a human
