Good customer service. My girlfriend and I dined here. She tried the King Crabs and I had a cup of Gumbo and Catfish Poboy. The food tasted pretty good. I would dine here again.

Solid 4 stars for this restaurant for food. Seafood was good quality and fresh. Flavor was delicious and service was good. We ordered the calamari it was okay. Garlic noodles was delicious. Blue crabs were excellent and the taste of New Orleans platter was enough for 3 of us to share for the main dish. Crab cakes were yummy and had plenty of crab meat. I would come here again next time I’m in New Orleans.

I got boiled snow crab, mussels, and mushroom with all 3 seasonings mixed and it was incredible. My server was so friendly and personable. It was a smaller restaurant but really excellent service. The ambience was nice and quiet. Would recommend. It was much less expensive than Fiery Crab (my go-to) but just as good if not better.

This was my first time at this particular boil house. I’ve been to the one on magazine several times and always had a good experience but I can’t say the same for this location. I was greeted very kindly when I walked in but that’s really where the positives end. I’ll just get to the point, service was very lackluster(they gave me a seat at the bar). There was no attention to detail or any type of care. I started with the charbroiled oysters, which tasted good but I had to spit about half of them out due to there being shell bits baked into them. Was nearly chipping my teeth. Very disappointing. Then I got 3lbs of crawfish which were disgusting. Most of them were crushed and just about all of the tail meat was mush. I couldn’t even finish them and I never leave crawfish on the table. The waitress/bartender had no clue because not once did she bother to ask how I was doing. Now I could’ve complained but I didn’t. If I was checked on throughout my experience then I would’ve given my input but like I said, I wasn’t asked once how anything was. I’ve been in the service industry for over 10 years. You always should quality check your customers. That’s the first line of defense for insuring a good experience. Not sure if the 18% auto grat deters the staff from trying but that’s a different topic all together. What makes it worse was that there was someone training and thus doesn’t really set a good example for new hires. It’s safe to say I won’t be returning to this location.

We were in town for a few days and craving a seafood boil, so we decided to try this restaurant. To get there, you can take either the 47/48 trolley or the 32 bus from Bourbon-Canal Street (we tried both). We were seated right away, but I highly recommend making a reservation, especially on a busy Friday night.
Katie was amazing—she was thorough in asking what we wanted and very knowledgeable about the customers’ needs and wants. We started with the charbroiled oysters, which were buttery, garlicky, and cheesy, served with bread—absolutely delicious! I also tried their blonde ale and hurricane, both of which were fantastic.
For our main course, we shared the Taste of New Orleans platter, which was more than enough for two people, especially if you ask for extra fixings like boiled eggs. Overall, it’s a great place, so if you are in New Orleans, this place is a must-try for seafood lovers!

This place is the real deal if you want seafood boil. This is our first visit to New Orleans and we found this place. We highly enjoyed the food and definitely would come back. The staff was so friendly and the food was so delicious. A must have if you are looking for this type of food. They were very quick and attentive making the experience a 10 out of 10 for us. Give this place a shot and you won’t be disappointed.

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! I am a regular at Boil House (I typically dine here twice a month). Yesterday my family and I had a TERRIBLE experience! The amount food we usually get was not the same and they also added a 15% service charge that we were not aware of (we also tipped 20%). Of course we spoke to the manager about how disappointed we were about the amount of food we received with our seafood boil and she just shrugged us off. If it wasn’t for us already eating our food we would have left. We spent a total of $237 for 3 people (excluding the tip we left). I believe they are trying to tax people because of Mardi Gras and they know the tourist won’t know any better. My advice if you’re visiting is to stay away from here unless you want to spend $75 for 1 corn, 2 potatoes, 10 crawfish and a baby cluster of snow crab! They just lost out on regular customers, we send people here all the time. I will be spreading the word not to go here! You’ll probably do better going to Fiery Crab instead!

The food was great and so was the service. I ate outside on the patio with my daughters. We have appteizers first and then our main courses. The music was just right, and the food was hot and well seasoned with great presentation. I would definitely go again. The oysters were amazing, I had the herb charbroiled oysters. They also had great cocktails and mocktails!!! It’s not easy to find a place that caters to those of us who do not drink as well as those who do. Check it out. You won’t regret it.
