Excellent experience. Wife and me both enjoyed our meals. They made a custom appetizer for us (cheese fries) which were incredible. Country fried steak was great. We got a steak and decided to use the STONE to cook it at the table. It gave us the ability to cook multiple pieces to the desired level of doneness and keep each bite hot! Service was awesome. Would definitely back here again. Decently priced. Paid 40 bucks for two full meals and an appetizer.

A top of the line steakhouse worthy of our beautiful Heber Valley. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. The food is fresh and cooked perfectly while staying reasonably priced. With something for everyone on the menu, The Hideout Grill is an excellent place for business dinners or a great family outing, but the word is out, and sometimes there might be a wait during peak hours. I promise it is well worth the wait.

Came recommended… but we were disappointed.
We were pretty hungry and a local friend recommended this place for good BBQ, so we headed on over. They weren’t too busy at the time we came (midweek around 6 pm) and seated us rather quickly.
Pros: 1) The rubs on the BBQ (we got tri-tip and beef brisket) were tasty. Well-seasoned with good flavor. 2) The kids burger was the best thing there. 3) The seasonal vegetables were really cooked well and flavorful.
Cons: 1) The BBQ was unfortunately on the dry to really dry side. Maybe it was off night, but it wasn’t great especially with no extra house BBQ sauces or anything. 2) The cheese sauce in the Mac & Cheese needed salt…like a lot of salt. 3) They got our order mixed up or forgot to bring a few things (the wrong sides with the BBQs and forgot an extra side of bacon and mayo on the side) (I understand everyone is short handed in the hospitality industry, so this mix-up may be a reflection of this larger issue).
To be aware of: At the time of this writing, there are many food shortages and supply chain issues throughout the country, so there is currently a 10% up charge to help with those costs. It’s on a little paper at the top of the menu.
Overall, it wasn’t the best experience. I do hope others have a better meal than we did.

This was by far the best place I’ve eaten in a long long time. Everything from the hot fresh bread, salad and especially the steak! My wife and I both had the Fillet mignon! It melted in your mouth. And where else can you go and cook your own steak on a 500 degree stone. It was awesome! We also had peach cobbler for dessert! It had to be the best I’ve eaten and I’m a peach cobbler Connoisseur! Best steak house ever!

The berry salad with salmon was perfect! The table ordered the wings to start and they were great (not spicy and had great flavor). The burgers looked great and the salads were fresh and delicious. Our server was very attentive and made our lunch perfect. Will definitely come back.

Delicious! Highly recommend and decently priced. They bring out hot bread with cinnamon butter to every table when you arrive. I got the steak medallions which were very tender. My husband got hand breaded chicken which had great flavor. They have great side dish options! Garlic mashed potatoes, seasonal veggies, smoked Mac and cheese, and house salad is what we tried. We enjoyed them all. They make their ranch dressing in house and it was good.

We had a reservation and we were seated as soon as we arrived. My kids loved the bread and honey butter they serve as you wait for your order. We all ordered sandwiches and burgers so no steak on a stone this time. My youngest loved the cream corn she got with her mac & cheese. The service is fantastic and fast. Pricing is reasonable. You won’t be disappointed.

By far the BEST st. Lewis ribs ever! Bones fall right off. Cooked just perfectly! (Currently live in Texas came home to visit and have found nothing better than these ribs!) they set expectations real high for BBQ in Texas! 10/10 recommend to everyone to come try! The mac n cheese and the beans are a must as well as their bread and cinnamon butter all the workers are so amazing and friendly and always want to be sure you are taken care of! Everyone needs a good ol Hideout steak house in their life! Ps only $40 for a full rack two sides and yummy bread!

We had the very best meal that we’ve had in a restaurant in a while. Chicken fried steak in house tenderized and battered and fries hand cut. My husband had the 1/2 rack ribs that was so delicious. Loaded baked potato soup. Dessert was a shared bowl of fresh homemade icecream. Service was terrific . Thanks Ashley and Todd the owner came around to ensure we enjoyed our meal. Also, fresh homemade loaf of bread for the meal. Not too big not too small. Love this place!
