As a newer resident to Uxbridge, I have usually gotten pizza locally in Uxbridge. After last night, that will be changed forever. Hide-A-Way Pizza in Mendon, literally 6 minutes from our house is the best pizza I have ever had! We ordered the Big Mac with the original crust and the People Choice in the thick pan crust and I was pretty speechless biting into both of these pizzas. My favorite is the people’s choice due to the honey mustard and chicken fingers ON the pizza and my boyfriend loves the Big Mac with all the toppings. This is our go to pizza place from now on!

It’s amazing, can’t believe I’ve been driving by this place for so long. The pizza is very good, a thick, soft crust with flavorful sauce and lots of cheese. The chicken “fingers” are incredible, the best I’ve ever had anywhere… they’re huge, a six piece and a large pizza can easily feed three people. The dinning area is small but roomy and clean. The staff is also very friendly.

Disappointed tonight. We go to this restaurant every now and then a d are usually happy. Tonight my chicken wrap, that cost $11, looks like someones leftovers. It had 3 tiny bites of chicken in it. Instead of the slices of bacon that I usually get in it, it had a few sprinkles of bacon bits. I know everyone is trying to cut costs, But this is pathetic.

Pizza was solid. I got a party pizza for a birthday party that was quite good. It was a bit pricey in my opinion though. Also, the only complaint for the pizza itself was the flavor of the sauce. Overall one of the better pizzas in the area.

The chicken fingers are the absolute best ever!! They’re also massive so a 4 piece feels more like 6. The homemade honey mustard is amazing as well. Subs are good too but pizza is pretty mediocre, so I stick to everything else typically.

We moved over to Hide Away as our local place years ago …the other place has the rudest people working there! We love their food and the people behind the counter! They actually learn your first name 😉 rare these days! We love the chicken salad and their chicken baskets!

They are in quite the weird spot though their name is true. Walking in the staff at the front desk is super nice and welcoming. The room is also quite welcoming too with its nice comfy look. Then you get to the drinks. I never seen a pizza place sell monster untill now. The lady was very confident in the chicken tenders and warned that they were big. She was right. The biggest chicken tenders i have seen in quite a long time and they were great. Nice and crispy whilest being juicy in the middle. Their honey mustard is also incredible. Its very sweet and just different. Their curly fries are also great. There isn’t much to say about curly fries.

Two stars… only because of the woman that always takes our order…she’s always been great…bomb service. It’s too bad the manager felt the need to talk to me because I won’t be back now. I get that things happen but will call as a heads up when there’s an issue…have never asked for anything…and always try to be polite. So when our “Caesar” showed up as romaine and about 20 croutons, I called to let them know…because at $9…it was 4 steps past over priced. Manager got on the Phone and I literally got: “so we missed the cheese…you want someone to deliver it?”…in a tone that said I was being ridiculous. I told him I didn’t want one of their guys to bring cheese on a Saturday night…just wanted to point it out (so the next person paying $9 got reasonable value)…and maybe a sincere “sorry bout that”. His tone the entire time was clearly that of someone telling me to love it or lump it. Message received. Lumping it and will spend elsewhere. Treat your counter staff well…and maybe let them manage the place because things might go better.

The fried chicken here along with the homemade honey mustard are award winning and fantastic!! Truly some of the tastiest flavors out there. They also have really good pizzas if you order the correct one. The service….. well they are always friendly when I walk in. Sometimes they offer a free soda when I wait. But it still takes at least an hour every time even for smaller orders. I’ve waited up to 2hrs before. They definitely need more staff or a bigger kitchen. I know sometimes they cut off orders for the night cause it’s too busy and they may need to do that more often. Other than the waits though the food is really worth it.
