My wife and I visited this spot yesterday to enjoy their Happy Hour. The place is small, but perfect. They have outside seating as well. We sat at the bar. We were immediately greeted warmly.

We ordered the Summer drink and the Peach one (Both found on the menu). We ordered the Original burger with fried egg and avocado. It was delicious. The burger was big, flavorful and everything was cooked how I needed it to be (We shared the burger and small fries. It was enough for 2). We ordered more drinks: Chocolate martini (Not on the menu, but ask for it…so delicious), we had tequila shots and my wife had a Mezcal drink prepared by the bartender (Not on the menu, but it was tasty).

The bartender was funny, accomodating and amazing. So amazing that I did not even know he was the owner!! Lol.. his name is Mike. He such a cool down to earth dude. Like very personable.

I definitely reccomend this spot!

I’m not sure where to start. BLUF- Hidden Spot is on my list of places to recommend for everyone visiting The Bay Area.

Service – Jalen was at the bar when I walked. He greeted me quickly and politely gave me time to look over the menu. I wish he had warned me about how big the portions are, but I’ll get back to that in a bit. He took my order and offered me water while I was waiting. Thank you, Jalen.

Food- Again there needs to be a warning about the chicken sandwiches. This was the biggest chicken thigh sandwich I have ever seen! If you order “The Other Guy” just know you can share it. I glad I ordered a small side of onion rings. The chicken is so tender and juicy. The Karaage chicken is amazing on its own. I have had a lot of Karaage chicken and this one is at the top of my list. The cabbage and tomatoes provide texture and coolness to every bite. The dried chili blend brings subtle heat to the sandwich without being overpowering or lingering on your palette too long. The onion rings are crispy and fried golden brown. Great job chef!

Atmosphere- There are plenty of screens to watch the game on. The bar is big enough to give you enough space between you and the friend you haven’t met next to you. The patio seating is also spacious and seems like a good place to have a good food and great conversation. When it warms up, this is the place to be on a spring or summer night. You can turn toward the building and watch the game while you eat. I’m so glad I found this place. I just wish I had found it sooner. See you next time.

Went after volleyball, didn’t know what to expect was looking for bar food and football, this place was great! The burger was amazing! Great service from the staff and plenty of TVs to watch the game, well worth checking out if you’re in the area

The service was amazing! The food was so good! We tried the Hidden Burger, the karaagi chicken, the fries, the hottie totties, the honey garlic wings, and I can’t remember the name of the burger but I think it is the pow. It was a bacon cheeseburger.

Everything was phenomenal, the taste and the crunch to everything was perfect. I definitely recommend this place as a spot for food!!

Last time I checked I was supposed to have tomatoes, jalapeños, and red onions with my big six veggies. But for some reason the cook decided otherwise…

My daughter said her food was good. My shredded chicken sandwich had the pesto mixed in it and I know that’s a preference. My complaint is the customer service… It was poor. I will be shocked if it lasts 3 years, let alone 1… Hopefully, their customer service will approve because my cocktail was delicious Too many options in the area for mediocre service By the way my waitress still charged me for the sandwich I didn’t eat and I still left a 15 percent tip And I observed the bartender being nicer to a different identity group anyway.. I’m just letting the viewer know of my experience

Exhausted from our family hike, we turned to Google for sustenance. This charming restaurant welcomed us warmly, quickly seating us and thoughtfully switching the channel to a children’s program.
Our server was kind and attentive. The food arrived promptly, and my wife was particularly pleased with her gluten-free bánh mì sandwich. Our children, with gusto, consumed their chicken tenders, wings, and fries. We’ll be back.

This place was recommended by a local. Loved the location and vibe!! We had a party of two. The place is small, but the staff was able to accommodate us and made room for us. We eventually moved to the bar when seats became available. Multiple TV’s with different game options. There was a man and a young lady that seemed to be working the bar area. The guy was VERY nice!! Took our order, made our drinks twice. But then he disappeared. He seemed to have multiple roles in the place so I’m thinking he got caught on the back or something. This left the young lady who was very inattentive!!!! The bar area was not busy at all and she didn’t ask us ONCE while sitting there if we needed more drinks. Usually we would’ve at least had 2-3 rounds while at the bar. She cleaned all around us but never offered to serve us. This was very disappointing after being there almost an hour. When we asked to checkout, I did mention our concern and dissatisfaction to her in a very respectful and professional manner. She didn’t deny her lack of customer service and very non-chalantly said “Yea I’m sorry”. I thought maybe she was new to the service industry, but when asked, she said she had been doing this for 3 years. I would definitely visit this establishment again, but ask for another bartender, server if I see her. Didn’t get her name…sorry.

Hidden spot indeed! The food was surprisingly good. The drinks were solid. This is pretty much the best place for lunch or dinner if you’re in the area.

I stumbled upon the Hidden Spot Emeryville, and let me tell you, it’s anything but hidden! Nestled right around the corner, this cozy eatery packs a punch with its amazing food.
Burgers Fit for Royalty: The wagyu burger stole the show. Juicy, flavorful, and supreme, it’s a carnivore’s dream. And don’t get me started on the garlic butter wings—they’re like little bites of heaven.
Creative Sandwiches: well-seasoned, and flavorful, it’s a delightful twist on hot sandwiches. Plus, the portions are just right—no skimping here!
