Visiting from Charlotte, here for a skii trip and was looking for some vegan food options. I love michelada so we tried that, I wasn’t a fan of it here – it was sweet I like the tangy soury flavor we tried with two different beers but still had that sweet taste. Anyways, we tried grilled veggie and bean tacos those were great. Service was amazing and quick.

If you’re looking for simple, delicious, traditional Mexican food near Holiday Valley, Hidalgo Grill is your place! Not only has my family really enjoyed our food as we’ve visited the last two years, but we’ve had no trouble getting a table even when the fancier restaurants are booked solid. Hidalgo Grill has all your favorites along with great chips and salsa, beers on tap and Margaritas. Getting service with a smile is the cherry on the sundae. Hope you enjoy as much as we did!

Authentic Mexican food at a very reasonable price given the massive portions. While the restaurant doesn’t have the same upscale vibe as others on the strip, service was quick and friendly. 100% recommend!

We ordered the expensive Birria tacos.
Sorely disappointed, very little cheese, meat and seems like old tortillas used for the tacos.
While I’m grateful for a meal and most willing to pay for a good meal, the value of what we got is not worthy the price.
The meat in the fajitas did not taste seasoned. It’s sad to rely on the vegetables or something else to make it taste good.
I have no clue what’s off today, if a 4.9 is the normal rating.
I know it’s New York and not Texas, just across the border.
Please go find a real Mexican restaurant, and learn the cuisine so not to dishonor the authentic stuff.

Authentic Mexican restaurant with amazing service efficiency and great food and drinks. 100% worth leaving holiday valley for a 3 minute drive for a great lunch and drinks at a much better price. I come here everytime I come to holiday valley and have never been disappointed!

I love this place so much. We’ve eaten here every time we go to holiday valley for skiing. And the food and service is great. We had the birria tacos last time and I personally loved them and I’ve tried a lot of different places for birria tacos these ones were very good.
The staff has always been so sweet and always making sure we’re taken care of. Food always comes out super quick and definitely reasonably priced.
