Had our anniversary here and can’t speak positively enough on the experience. From the food to the service, everything was excellent and so memorable. Special mention to our server Elliot who was so lovely, helpful, and professional. We had the smokehouse platter (serves 2) and are both so full we will need to be rolled out of the restaurant haha! Thanks for the great experience!

One of my regular places, the food is delicious and great value on the special menu days – Especially the Thursday BBQ Blowout! Drinks are very good too, including massive milkshakes. They sing you happy birthday and give you a free doughnut with a big sparkler too, which is lovely touch.

We had a brilliant meal, as we always do. Tonight was our wedding anniversary and they really went all out to make us feel special. The platter we had was massive (ask for a box to take leftovers back!) and the special anniversary dessert that they made for us was a lovely touch. I honestly can’t say enough nice words.

We decided to give hickory’s another go after poor experience previously. We booked for our anniversary meal and got seated in Kia’s section, from the get go she was the friendliest and most welcoming waitress we have had and started up a conversation about our anniversary, not long after she took our food and drinks order, finding us a bigger table when we decided to splash out on a number of dishes.
Kia’s service and effort throughout the evening is unmatched and is the best waitress I’ve ever had (I don’t say this lightly as I work in hospitality myself). She was always smiling, having a laugh and joke and worked incredibly hard dealing with a big section on a busy Friday night.
Our food was great and at the end Kia put together an anniversary celebration plate, adding a bit of humour and making our anniversary something to remember. Even though she said it’s been tough, she made sure she did her job well, I hope everything gets better and she is recognised for her incredible service .

We visited here for brunch at 10.15 on a Saturday. The staff were very assertive to my daughters birthday requests and very vigilant to assist my wife with her dairy allergy. We had a good size group of us and weren’t ushered out like some restaurants do after you’ve paid your bill. The food we had was very tasty and definitely looked as good as it tasted. Will go there again

I went to Hickories for my mate’s 35th birthday, and Leah H, our waitress, was absolutely fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and she served us with a smile the whole time.
One of my friends had a brandy and coke that was a bit too strong, and Lea happily added more coke without hesitation. My sister accidentally ordered the wrong meal, but Lea quickly sorted it out with no fuss at all. She kept our table clean and tidy, clearing glasses regularly, and even split the bill between the four of us with no issues.
Lea really made our experience at Hickories amazing. We’ll definitely be back!
