Wings were burnt, salmon was raw.. Called in over this order and was told refunds require regional managers approval and the best they could offer was a credit that was placed on their in store board to be claimed at my next order. Spent $52 on these two meals.

Wynter made our experience at Hickory Tavern absolutely top-tier. From the moment we sat down, she was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. She checked on us at all the right times, made great recommendations, and made sure everything came out exactly how we wanted.
The food was great, but the service really stood out because of her. You can tell she cares about what she does and about the customers having a good time. The atmosphere felt relaxed and enjoyable, and Wynter played a big role in that.
If you’re coming here, definitely hope you get Wynter as your server — she’s amazing and made this a 5-star experience for us. Will definitely be back!

My wife and went and had lunch. The food and service were great! The manager and district managers were both on site. They both made it a point to check on service and food. We will be back. This one a little further from home but we will drive because of the extra friendly service.

Very disappointing experience. the wing sauce was not wing sauce but HOT SAUCE- Big difference. We got our food and then the waitress disappeared… literally had to flag her down to get a refill… The caesar salad had more cheese than lettuce…Really bad. Asked to speak to the manager and she was not any help.. basically we have the wing sauce shipped to us, can’t help you?!

Visited today 10/19/2024. Ordered a Tavern Burger which actually turned out to be a double smash burger. The burger was so big that I had to cut it in half before I attempted to eat it. The first three bites were phenomenal. The fourth bite was not so great. I actually bit into paper, that is used to separate frozen hamburger patties. I actually ate some of the paper and my teeth marks were in the paper. I checked the other half for the burger and sure enough, the rest of the paper was on that half of the burger as well. I sent the burger back and I received an apology. I also was offered a replacement burger, but at that point, I had lost my appetite. God only knows what else was inside that burger. My dinner companion ordered six wings ($12) and a cup of coleslaw ($3.99) which was nothing more than some shredded cabbage mixed with mayonnaise. We finished dinner, I asked the waitress for our check and she brought it. However, after 10 minutes of waiting for her to come back and she never did, I walked up to the bar to pay the bartender. At this point, the hostess stopped me and asked what I was doing. I told her that my waitress had not returned and that I had somewhere to be so I was going to pay the bartender. She said she would handle it and took it from me. As I was walking back to my table, my waitress approached me and asked me why I went to the bar. I told her that I had somewhere to be and that I wanted to pay my bill. She asked me who I gave my bill and credit card to and I told her that I had given it to the hostess. She was furious walked very rapidly across the restaurant. I guess she was looking for the hostess who had my credit card. After a couple of minutes, the original waitress showed up with my credit card and I was able to leave and sign and leave. This is the first time I have ever had a bad experience at Hickory Tavern and I was very surprised. I did not want another burger and I did not want to continue eating my burger that had paper in it. if they is not giving any attention to making my meal, I don’t want him to make me another one and I did not continue eating that burger because God only knows how many more foreign objects I may have encountered. Sorry, Hickory Tavern. You need to step up your game.

Let’s just say, the experience was just okay. We started out ordering Mimosas, which took forever because they had run out of champagne and had to get permission to substitute them with Prosecco, but the drink menu, and the beer selections are good.
Much of our food starting with the appetizers, was NOT hot, nor fresh. We had to send our spinach dip back to be heated, and it came back warmer, but still not cooked. The same thing goes with our entrees… the protein was well cooked, but not hot, or flavorful, and the sides were room temperature.
I don’t know much about preparing food in restaurants, but it seems they “pre cook” everything, and then just heat it up when you order it, so it does not feel, look, or taste fresh.
Our server was very congenial, the atmosphere was good, it was not crowded at all, and they appeared to be well staffed.
We spent about $88 dollars, and fully tipped out server even though we left unsatisfied.
I probably will not go back because dining out is too expensive for the food to not be at least “very” good!

I had a VERY long day. At 10:30 PM I remembered Hickory Tavern’s 50% off burger is today/Tuesday. Thankfully, I’m only 2 min away from the restaurant. Only 2 customers remained, and the employees were preparing for tomorrow. The manager and the staff was amazing!

Pretty quick phone order. Lots of TVs playing all different sports was nice. My wings were OK and my 25 fries were a bit soggy when I got them home. Haven’t been here in a while. Worth giving a chance.

Very good lunch, not busy. Excellent Rubin and broccoli. Fries, wings, powwow shrimp is good. Grits and shrimp are good. Lots of parking. I meet a lot of people there at lunch.
