I stopped into Sonoma Grill + Wine Bar a little early before an event nearby, and I’m glad I finally got the chance to try it. Around 5 PM the atmosphere was quiet and relaxed, which made it a great spot to unwind.
From the start, service was warm and welcoming. The host greeted me right away, and the bartender was attentive and friendly throughout my visit. Their wine list is solid — although I did notice they were out of a few selections, the team handled it with care. I decided to enjoy a glass of champagne and couldn’t resist ordering oysters from the menu. They came out beautifully presented, fresh, and delicious. I went classic with horseradish, cocktail sauce, and Tabasco — everything hit the spot.
It was a simple but very pleasant experience — sipping champagne, enjoying oysters, and relaxing at the bar while they prepared for a big party in the dining room. The space itself looks lovely, and I’m already planning to come back with my husband to enjoy a full dinner.
Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a comfortable place with good wine, attentive service, and fresh bites.

I thought this was a high-quality steakhouse. The steak I got was covered with brown gravy and onions like a Salisbury steak. Try a few things on the menu. I think you get better quality at Olive Garden and better steaks at Longhorn and being that they are almost 3 times the prize. I definitely say this restaurant is not worth your time or money.

Crab stuffed mushrooms were great. The flavor of the 9 oz Filet was exceptional! Brussel sprouts were the best I have ever had, so tasty! To top it off, my server Trinity was amazing.

I was really looking forward to celebrating my husband’s birthday dinner here, but unfortunately our experience did not meet our expectations.
We had a 5:00 PM reservation on Saturday for our family — myself, my husband, our two children (ages 7 and 4), along with his sister, her husband, and their baby. For about the first hour, we were the only guests in the restaurant. During that time, it took approximately 20 minutes for our drink order to be taken and another 20 minutes to receive the drinks (two cocktails and waters).
We were ready to place our food order within about 45 minutes, but after ordering, it took close to another hour for the food to arrive. We were informed that a few menu items were unavailable — I had originally ordered the ravioli, which was substituted with gnocchi due to it being out of stock. Additionally, one of our dishes was prepared incorrectly. Given the extended wait time, we decided to take that dish to go rather than wait for it to be remade.
Because we had already been seated for nearly two hours and everyone — especially the children — was growing tired, we were unable to stay and enjoy birthday cake as planned. Throughout the evening, we also had to repeatedly ask for drink refills and updates on our food.
We spent approximately $400 on dinner and truly expected a smoother and more attentive experience, especially for a special occasion. We hope this feedback is helpful, as we would have loved for this celebration to reflect the quality we anticipated.

I’ve been here twice now and both times were exceptional. Both the food and the service are the best in the state. They had live violinists here one of the times as well giving a great atmosphere to the evening. If you are looking for a good place for a date night or such this should definitely be on your list.

The food was to die for!! We had Wagu, ravioli, wedge salad and bruschetta. It was one of the best steaks we have ever had and that is saying a lot (having traveled the world and had Wagu in Japan and Korea). The only this disappoitment was the service, our server was slightly snobby. He even asked if we were sure this was where we wanted to eat (I mean we were in FanX costumes) but come on.

We came to Christopher’s Prime + Sonoma Wine Bar & Grill with a party of eight and spent several thousand dollars, including the automatic 20% gratuity. Our experience was mixed. It took about 30 minutes for a waitress to come to our table, but the hostess let us know she was busy with another group, so we understood. Once she arrived, she was extremely kind, helpful, and attentive. She answered all our questions and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night.
However, the service from the bartender when we first walked in was very disappointing. Despite the restaurant only having a few seated tables, she seemed irritated from the start and greeted us with a rude attitude. The restaurant knew we had a reservation, yet we did not feel welcomed at all.
Our entire dining experience took nearly four hours, and even though the restaurant closed at 10 pm, we didn’t end up leaving until 11 pm. As we were leaving, the same bartender was again very rude — telling us “jeez, y’all need to leave and get out of here,” while shaking her head and making unpleasant gestures. It definitely left a bad impression after an otherwise decent meal and great service from our waitress.
Overall, the food and our server were great, but the attitude and behavior of the bartender really brought the experience down.

Christopher’s always delivers. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm, polished, and elevated without being stuffy. It’s the kind of steakhouse you can count on whether it’s a celebration dinner or just a “treat yourself” night. The lobster was divine and the steak cooked to perfection and you can’t beat the fresh bread and house special whipped truffle butter.
Service is where they really shine.Colin was wonderful, he was attentive without hovering, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely welcoming. It’s rare to find a restaurant that’s this consistent across food, service, and atmosphere.

my fiancè and I have come here every year for various occasions over the last 6 years. every single time has been the best experience we’ve ever had before. the food is incredible. the service is unmatched. today, we celebrated our 6 year anniversary- our waiter, Colin and the staff went out of their way to write a personalized card, signed by every employee, as well as a free desert. I’ve never felt more cared about by strangers who owe me nothing. I will forever recommend Christopher’s Prime to anyone looking to have a perfect night.
