I want to support businesses in my area but the pulled pork here is terrible ..you’re named hickory hut!! I was expecting at the very least some smoke flavor but no it was bland. Not a lick of seasoning. It’s pulled pork. You got to season it before and after or put some mop sauce on it. I understand it’s hard to run a restaurant but come on..you can’t tell me you tasted the food and was like yeah they would love this. Bbq has to have a little bit of love in it. Id choose a cold veggie omelette MRE over this.

BBQ not good but not totally bad I guess. My bread was bun was flat like someone sat on it. BBQ sauce taste like ketchup. Brunswick stew taste either old or watered down. Fries are just ok. These good reviews sure did fool me. 3 stars is generous.

Got my order wrong. I ordered a burger an fries and then my fiance ordered loaded fries. I guess on paper the cook thought it ment “burger with side of loaded fries”. All good tho, they fixed it asap, They were super busy and rushed but the food came out great. Very good food right in the center of Dallas.

Free parking not so handicap friendly when entering the building had ordered one hot ham and cheese sandwich along with cheese fries plus a sweet tea also three orders of the barbecue sandwiches french fries three large drinks everything was hot and fresh. They will call your receipt number to pick up your food order on counter, just need to upgrade on their sitting arrangements replacement of tables due to wear and tear but other than that everything was good had a sweet lady at the counter that take your orders .

Good food, solid 4 stars, my only complaints are just me being picky. A little on the pricey side for bbq but they make up for it with large servings. Definetly worth stopping by if your in town.

Sweet tea is good, the sauce carried the bbq sandwich and the ketchup carried the fries. Without sauce there’s no flavor at all.

Stew was great, they only serve pork I was looking for BBQ beef, steak Burger was pretty good, they give you huge amounts of fries, old building and looks like it could use an overall update
