This place is a hidden gem! I got the smash burger and wife got the daily special, a sirloin steak. Service was phenomenal, speedy, and fun to talk with…I wish I got his name, but he is in the picture I’m adding that is taken as you’re walking in. The burger was great, perfectly cooked, and came with the soup of the day: loaded baked potato, which was great. The wife’s side was the collards, which were honestly the best I’ve ever had in GA; I’m not sure what they do, but the flavor was out of this world!!
It looks like they have a nice event space and tons of TVs for watching sports. The bar looked fully stocked, although we didn’t have anything to drink from it. We will definitely be coming back to this place!

We stopped coming here a while ago, but my husband tried it for lunch today, and bought me some fried green tomatoes home. The tomatoes were so thinly sliced that I could hardly taste them. There was probably less than an half of a tomato in them .Plus they were over cooked. Never again..

Had a girls lunch here yesterday! It was amazing. We ordered a few appetizers to share. We had the shrimp, cheese spread and seafood spinach dip. All were delicious. Our server Megan who was also the bartender was on point with her service. Highly recommend this great little spot! We will be back.

Went to HFK last week for my moms birthday and was very impressed. It seems underrated as it currently only has 4.2 stars but I believe this will continue to increase. I got the bistro steak salad and was very happy with not only the portion size but also the quality of the steak. My wife and mom both got the crab cakes and they were incredible as well. The only reason I ranked the atmosphere 4 stars is it was a bit quiet as it was a Wednesday night so I won’t fault them for that. I would think it feels a lot more lively on the weekend.
Definitely will be coming back.

Delicious chicken salad salad. I love getting it with their balsamic vinaigrette as well as their sesame vinaigrette! They also have a great burger and their fries are my favorite – always perfectly fresh! The staff is always friendly and very accommodating.

Solid go to place that has had excellent food the two times I have been. Service has been impeccable. By far the best wings in the area. Lemon pepper and ask for some buffalo sauce to dip them in. Always have specials on the board. HFK delivers the goods! Enjoy

Me and my wife had dinner here and food was fantastic. I had the Southern Burger and my wife had the Western burger. We were both more than satisfied and the pickle on the side was delicious as well, plenty of seasoned fries included which were perfect. My wife had the Peach Margarita & they make their own homemade sour mix so it was super refreshing. We Would definitely recommend checking this great spot out and grabbing some food & one of their house made cocktails!

I genuinely hate having to take back a glowing five-star compliment and review, but it’s impossible to ignore the total collapse in quality here. It feels as though the soul of the kitchen has vanished, leaving a hollow shell of what used to be a premium dining destination. We returned expecting the same “high-end” excellence we previously raved about, but instead, we were met with a series of culinary failures that would be embarrassing for a roadside diner, let alone a self-proclaimed fine-dining establishment. The most glaring issue was the total lack of technical skill. We ordered our burgers medium-rare,a standard request for any kitchen worth its salt, yet they arrived charred to a crisp and bone-dry. There is no world in which “well-done and blackened” is a substitute for a tender, pink center. When an owner like Dan who swore that they were his favorite in my last review, it sets a high bar, but apparently, “favorite” doesn’t equate to “functional.” The disconnect between the marketing and the execution is staggering. If you claim to be high-end, you simply cannot fail at basic temperature control. The disappointment didn’t stop at the grill. The appetizers and sides felt like an afterthought. The onion rings were a disaster with the breading sloughed off in sad clumps before they even hit the ketchup, revealing raw, semi-cooked onions underneath. It’s a basic fry-station error that should never pass a quality check. Then came the shrimp very rubbery, overextended, and completely devoid of the delicate snap you expect from fresh seafood. It’s baffling because shrimp is a foundational protein and it doesn’t take a scientist to avoid overcooking it, yet the kitchen managed to miss the mark entirely. To round out the meal, the salad arrived soggy and lifeless, drowning in its own moisture. There was zero “love” in this food, just a cold, assembly-line indifference. Based on this experience, it seems our first visit was a fluke of luck rather than a standard of service. The current health score rating is no longer just a number on the wall; it is a vivid description of the meal we were served. Unless there is a massive overhaul in leadership and attention to detail, my friends and I won’t be risking another reservation. The wagon has lost its horse, and the wheels have officially fallen off. I’d expect more from a place that charges its community so much.

The food is delicious here. However,, our recent visit here for my birthday was ruined when I asked for my favorite dish, which the server had already suggested, the Linguini di Fugazzi, then tells me minutes later that they are out of it and were missing the linguini as an ingredient. Dinner service had just started and we were there at 6:30. I feel that the chef and staff did not want to take the time to prepare it since they were not in the kitchen and instead they were all out in the dining area watching the Georgia football game, hooting and hollering over it. This was not a pleasant experience. I had to settle for the Filet Mignon, which was subpar at best and overcooked to well, which I was not asked how I wanted it, although they should know the standard for a Filet Mignon. It was not well seasoned and tasted quite gamey. It will be a long tine before I step foot in their doors, but maybe when Georgia is not playing. Geaux Tigers.
