Hibiscus Jamaican Fusion – A Must-Try!

Ask for chef G and Otis!!!!!
I ordered the jerk chicken with rice and peas, plus an extra side of jerk chicken, and it absolutely delivered. The chicken was perfectly charred on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with authentic jerk flavor—smoky, spicy, and well-seasoned without being overpowering. You can tell it was cooked with care.

The rice and peas were flavorful, not dry, and paired perfectly with the jerk sauce, which added just the right amount of heat and richness. The steamed cabbage on the side was a great balance—tender, lightly seasoned, and a nice contrast to the bold spices of the chicken.

Portion sizes were generous, presentation was solid, and everything tasted fresh. This meal gave real island vibes and felt like comfort food done right.

Stopped here on a whim as I wanted to eat something that would be a little tough for me to cook at home and they had good reviews. Turns out the good reviews were well-deserved.

Since I was torn between oxtail and jerk chicken, Chef Aundre hooked me up with a combo plate, and it didn’t disappoint. I was the only person in the restaurant for most of my meal, as I managed to arrive smack between lunch and dinner service. Everything was moist and fall-off-the-bone perfect, and I’d gladly go back.

First time ordering out from this restaurant. I was excited to try it based on the reviews and it was an hour drive for me. I used the kiosk to order and after 20 minutes of not hearing anything from the staff (I wasn’t greeted at all) I went to the window and he said it will be about 20 minutes for my order so I did have to wait a while.

Jerk taco bao buns- I was excited to try this fusion dish. The jerk chicken was dry but they provided a cup of sauce for me to dip it in. The bao had no taste but was soft.
Jerk chicken wings- The sauce on the wings was soooo tasty but the chicken itself was hard/dry.
Mac and cheese- Reminded me of kraft mac and cheese from the blue box; I desired more of a baked and flavorful taste.
Total cost was about $40 but I did not enjoy it unfortunately. Made I was better off ordering other items that has really good reviews like the rasta pasta or the oxtail.

Everything was cool I just moved down here recently, and honestly, I think I’ll still make the hour drive to Miami for Jamaican food. Out of all the spots I’ve tried, this one actually had most of the dishes I was looking for, except for the mac & cheese. That was super bland—just plain noodles and cheese, no real flavor. Thankfully, the guy working there was really nice and swapped it out for something else.

The oxtail gravy was on point, but $27 for just four pieces of oxtail? That’s wild. It feels like they might’ve just opened, so I’ll probably give them another shot. The vibe was good at first, but once I started eating, it got so hot inside. I was literally melting and couldn’t even enjoy the food the way I wanted to so I left but everything is good just better Mac and cheese and more gravy and oxtails

I visited this restaurant for lunch with my family on mother’s day. The service was great and so was the food. We had the oxtails with rice and peas, the jerk chicken pasta, jerk pork tacos, truffle fries, curry chicken and oxtails bao buns. While the oxtails was very tender, it was a bit too fatty for me (but I also understand that restaurants may not have the time to de-fat a large batch of oxtails). My only other issue was that the A.C. was not efficient, it was a bit hot in the establishment. Overall, I will definitely be returning, heat, fat and all .

Excellent food, atmosphere, and customer service were percent authentic, and that’s a plus for Jamaican restaurants! Attitude is everything! I am so happy we found this place! It is amazingly delicious! We had the Rasta pasta, the best I’ve ever had, and the snapper dinner was outstanding! Everything was superb! It’s worth the drive, wherever you are in the West Palm Beach/ Fort Lauderdale area! Big up to Chef Flex! Much love! How about they do catering, too!!!

Incredible food! Ordered for takeout and couldn’t be happier. The Jamaican wings were cooked perfectly and the sauce had a subtle sweetness mixed with delicious spices. I had ordered the curry shrimp bao buns but they ran out because they are so good. They were kind enough to swap them for pork bao buns and I’m glad they did, they were amazing. Fluffy bao buns with hefty portions of pork that were cooked wonderfully. Highly recommend a taste.

This was my first time eating here, and it definitely won’t be my last! The next time I’m on vacation in Florida, I’ll be sure to make my way back to Hibiscus Jamaican Fusion. I got the shrimp Rasta Pasta and the jerk wings, and couldn’t have been happier with the food. The portions are huge, the price is right on point, and the flavor is unmatched! Chef Flex didn’t have to make the food this good, but he did THAT!! Whether you’re a local to Lake Worth or just in the area visiting, I highly recommend giving this place a chance. I promise you won’t be disappointed. I truly look forward to coming back and trying more of the menu. Respect!

This restaurant was great. Several menu items were already sold-out, so we got the blackened Shrimp pasta and Wings with the Hibiscus sauce; both were so good. I would recommend. The only down side to this location is the parking, not much of it. I would recommend ordering to-go more than dinning in.. I will definitely be going back..

The food was absolutely delicious! My jerk chicken with rice and peas was spot-on, the sweet plantains were a perfect side, and the rice was flavorful. Everything was freshly cooked, and the meal was a complete hit. I highly recommend it and would definitely give it 5 stars!
