Never a bad dish. Always clean and fresh dishes with fair prices and prompt service. Personally would recommend the more Japanese home-cooked dishes as it’s not so common/easy to get, at this level. Love that the menu keeps changing with interesting daily specials all the time!

High quality sushi and Japanese fare. Cozy vibes. Great, warm service. The roasted green tea hojicha was awesome.. so flavorful and direct from Japan

My expectation might be too high so that I was a little bit disappointed after visiting. The price was overall ok, so the portion was overall small. Taste was overall “home-style,” something you might cook at home which means nothing unique.

Great quality sushi and sashimi – the best you can find in LIC! There menu offers a wide selection and contains a few sampling plates. The prices are spot on for good sushi and you can really taste the freshness. Looking forward to coming back and trying out more options!

This is one of the best and most authentic Japanese restaurants that I’ve ever had in NYC. The sushi is excellent, better than fancy sushi places in Manhattan. The quality of the fish is so fresh. Other dishes are excellent too, reminded me of what my mom cooks at home in Japan. The interior design is really nice too. Reminded me of a modern hip restaurants in Japan. Would definitely go back, this place is amazing!!!

It pains me to even write this review because I want so badly to be selfish and keep this local neighborhood gem to myself. This is my go-to sushi spot in all of New York City…the simple and beautiful aesthetics, the small and intimate feel of the restaurant, the always-pleasant and fast customer service, the insanely reasonable prices to quality ratio, the perfect menu with a mix of sushi classics and more interesting/local items, the fact that their menu changes everyday…man, I’ve said too much, now you’re all gonna come here. Hibino is the best!

Best sushi in LIC, especially at such a reasonable price! The fish is so fresh. We also loved their changing appetizers, which keeps the menu fresh. Appreciated the peaceful and minimalist design, will definitely be back again!

Sushi is very good. Everything not sushi was bad. Can only recommend sushi items. Salmon belly over sushi rice and blue crab roll are both fantastic. Scallop roll also very good.

Hands down one of the top Japanese, Kyoto-style spots around. Super high quality, excellent service, get sake and wines. Would come everyday if I had the time!

Service was great! Food was fresh and delicious, very authentic. I especially liked their raw sashimi selection, although if you’re looking for Americanized sushi rolls then this isn’t the place for you
