So the husband and I eat here every month and have been for years, the last couple of months we haven’t because I’ve been in and out of the hospital. When I said something to the cashier who is always there. (has been for years, usually with the old man, who wasn’t there tonight) I told her the food this time was horrible, my husband did not even finish his food, and did not get much to begin with. ( its not like I asked for a refund) she did not take it well at all ( I’m half Asian, and we Asians do not take negative criticism well at all, but with this being a business you would think her comment would be different, I recorded exactly what she said and thought about posting it, but believe my review is enough) She proceeded to tell me I can’t say that, because plenty of people came in earlier that day and said the food was good. I told her I’m (among other things she said I recorded, if you check my other reviews I have posted people recordings of them talking) not other people and as far as I’m concerned they might not eat there as much as my husband and I do. I asked about the cooks, but was told was the same. Now if the food was horrible before we would not eat there as much as we did, but tonight it definitely was not worth $44.00. I eat the exact same thing each time, here’s the breakdown and taste. The fried wings was not crispy like they usually are, the fish was okay. The muscles with the cheese sauce usually is creamy, it was over cooked and dry. The fried shrimp with the head on was not crispy at all. I usually pull the head off and eat the entire shrimp legs, skin and all (the Asian in me lol) this time I had to peel it because it wasn’t crispy or chewable. The crawfish was absolutely flavorless and tastless like it was just boiled with no seasoning. The vermicelli clear or rice noodles were real dry. The sushi was good like usual, and the hot wings were good. Of course the fruit was also good, but by this time I was so disgusted with the other stuff I left it on the plate and we left. I guess their 3.9 rating came from all the people she so pointed out that enjoyed their food that day..lol it definitely was not us! So if this is not a regular go to for you, you might not know better and think the food is great. If you are a veteran eater there like us, think twice before wasting your money! We going to go to the other one up the street next time to see if that will be our new go to, so if you want to take a chance, by all means do so..BUT DON’T HAVE ME SAY, I TOLD YOU SO!

The food here is top notch and one of the higher quality buffets on most it’s selection to choose from.
They have a majority of different items to choose from. The food is fresh and cooked to great quality. Thevsalmon is tender and has medium flavor, the steamed fish was cooked with precision, the sesame chicken amd general tso’s was some of the best I had, and they also have lots of vegetables, meats, and seafood.
The buffet also includes ice cream to scoop out, as well as sushi bar, fruit section. I hope to go back Yahweh willing.
The only down side was the waitress I had was not even par status. She didn’t refill my water, didn’t ask if I needed anything, and just came by to get my plates when I wasn’t there and then attempted to get me to leave by offering my check earlier. I confronted her and told her to be more mindful of her customers amd ask if they need anything amd that it can affect her customer attraction. I wanted to show Christ’s love by encouraging her while telling her I was displeased, but still desire to show love.
Next time, I hope she will do better, or either have a different servicer.
The atmosphere was pleasant, and I enjoyed talking and meeting my fellow foodies around.
The restaurant was 5 star level, the only reason I gave 1 starbservice was because of the waitress, but hope improvements were taken heed. Definitely hope to go back.

I love the food and fresh sushi. A must try is the number 4 soup, yummy! Unbeatable price. I do feel a little uncomfortable because the waiters stare you down as you are signing the check. I feel like they are waiting to see what tip is left for them. The one thing I absolutely hate is the bathroom. The women’s bathroom is always disgusting and smells so bad. The stalls look like pee has been splashed on the wall and have corroded some spots. Overall, great, fresh food but terrifying bathrooms.

It’s consistently good, always fresh and well-stocked, and their sushi bar is great for the price. It’s fresh, they don’t leave anything sitting out, and the wait staff is on top of drinks and bussing. Three people eat for about 65 dollars or so, and we’ve never been disappointed.

Decided to go out of my way to go here for lunch cause I Googled searched for a Chinese buffet restaurant while I was on this side of Raleigh. I am so glad I ended up here cause I was impressed upon the cleanliness of the restaurant. The staff kept up with the hot and cold food stations to make sure selections didn’t run out. There also was a vast variety of selections to choose from and most importantly the food was good. The waitress was attentive and kept my table clear and beverage topped off. If I’m on this side of Raleigh again I will return.

Most of the time it’s crowded, the food is good though and they added ramen since the last time I’ve been. Went recently and they charged $26 per person instead of$18 with no knowledge to me, called and they said it’s a “gratuity charge” because of so may people joining which I would have thought it would be a discount.
Next time let us know instead of charging and causing an inconvenience.

If you like sushi, they have a great selection along with have it your way fresh hibachi made to your order as well as other great dishes not to mention freshly prep fruits and desserts. Yes it’s a little pricey but you pay for what you get in which you won’t be disappointed.

The buffet was not fresh. I was not happy. I will continue going to the Hong Kong down the street. It was beautiful when you walk in and as you start eating the buffet that’s when I was very disappointed. Barely warm food. Chicken teriyaki just chopped in pieces sitting in a half inch of grease. Flavor was off. Just not worth the price. Will definitely not come back. $50 for 2 people ..3 out of 10.
