I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, Hi Sushi. I live in Babylon Village (where there is a Sushi place on each corner) and I ONLY eat Sushi at this restaurant. The Proprietor and his wife are the kindest people and have a warm welcoming attitude that makes you want to come back for more. The Sushi is of the highest caliber, fresh, tasty and delicious. Any negative reviews- just disregard. The service is friendly, efficient and fast. Take out is also a positive. If you want to eat Sushi that is above all others- go straight to Hi Sushi! THE RESTAURANT IS OPEN FOR TAKE OUT ONLY. PLEASE GO THERE AND SUPPORT THEIR BUSINESS.

Had, and at really good prices. I walked in there and called a spicy tuna roll sushi. And it set him off on an intense rant about what’s the difference between sushi and a roll. It was a lot of fun. I started yelling back and then we laughed. The fish is fresh and they put a lot of love into everything. His wife is a sweet heart as well

The fish is always fresh and tasty. They take very obvious cleaning steps to maintain sanitary conditions. The big plus is one very clean sanitary rest room (That’s a big +)
Bottom line; if you want good food and a reasonable price, Go To Hi Sushi and enjoy. 5 STARS from me.

Steve and Jackie are such kind people. Excellent food and great prices. Ordered catering for the holidays many times. Also, regularly enjoyed their lunch specials. My sons and I were so sad when we saw the for lease sign in their window. I hope they are both well. I would gladly visit their new location if they moved.

Great food, quaint atmosphere, great people. The Sushi is by far my favourite Sushi to get on Long Island. I have had sushi all over the island, and this is by the best tasting. If you go to a fancy restaurant and order sushi, you will get a very fancy and sophisticated tasting dish. If you order sushi from Hi! Sushi, you will receive the most homey and wholesome sushi around. It tastes like food you would get from your Japanese friend’s father or grandfather. Inside is not the fanciest, and sure maybe could use some renovating here and there; but overall it is a small and quaint Ma & Pop shop. Both owners are extremely friendly and proud of the work they do here, and I have recommended this place to anyone who I find out likes sushi. They also have ramen and other forms of food, although sushi is their forte. It is a great place to try, and I highly recommend it!

The sushi here is always fresh and stunning. I love how easy it is to order something and then pick it up 30 minutes later. I seriously recommend this place. And it’s run by a friendly and cute married couple. Really love their Japanese peach drink too. Yummy.

Went to Hi Sushi because I was in the hood…just to have a quick snack (no expectations) and was TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY.
This is possibly the best sushi I’ve ever had.
