Had reservations. Our table was ready when we arrived. The bourbon old fashioned is delicious. We had the relish tray. Nice variety of nibbles while we sat and chatted with our cocktails. I also recommend the crab cakes- we had them on a previous occasion. Meals come with a satisfying side salad and bread basket. The filet was cooked to a perfect medium rare. I added the bone marrow butter, but I don’t think it added much to the steak overall. Classic baked potato that did the job.
Our server Stacie was great. Personable and attentive to our needs.
Don’t miss out on the dessert selections. The owner is a baker and all desserts are made in house. We ended the night with the thickest Grasshopper I’ve ever had. It was the perfect ending to a lovely meal.

Food was great – my daughter’s and I were on a girls Kristkindlmart weekend and came across this steakhouse. Steaks (ribeyes) were tender and done to perfection. Sides were tasty and desserts (grasshoppers and cream brulee) were terrific. Courses were paced a little too fast. Southern Comfort old fashion was flat and light on the Southern Comfort. Waitress was efficient and friendly.

We arrived on time for our reservation, but they were really behind at seating people, so we sat at the bar until our table was ready.
My ribeye steak was really good, flavor was almost perfect. My garlic smashed potatoes on the other hand seemed to have no garlic, and the texture was a bit off, which was disappointing, but our waitress daryn brought out some melted garlic butter, that she had made up for me and made it taste better.
My husband had the braised short ribs and he said they were great and flavorful.
Our waitress was probably the best service we have had in a long time and she definitely made our night.

Been here before and everything was superb but had a craving for Wellington and HiPoint did not disappoint!! This Wellington was better than Hells Kitchen!! You have to try it!!

We travel an hour to visit this restaurant 4-6 times a year. We always dine early to avoid the crowd. They open at 4 pm but don’t seat anyone until 5, which is perfect. It allows us to sit at the bar and enjoy a cocktail before dinner. The food here is always excellent. The prime rib is absolutely fantastic and their veggies are always fresh. The onion haystack appetizer is fantastic. We’ve never had dessert here because we’re always too stuffed but they look great. Pro tip – you MUST have reservations to dine here. Which is an indication of their fantastic food and service.

Lifetime Madison area resident for over 50+ years. First time here. Wow, just wow. The drinks phenomenal (aviation), the food delicious (their house special steak) and the service was great! It was our anniversary and we couldn’t have picked a better place!!

We discovered Hi Point three years ago and keep coming back.
The steaks and seafood (especially the lobster tail and king crab legs) are to die for.
Everything we have tried at Hi Point is spectacular whether it’s ribeyes, NY Strip steaks, or Prime Rib.
Even the buttered rolls they serve are out of this world.
We live over two hours away (we bring a cooler with ice for the leftovers) and still make the trip at least three times a year.
Oh, and the prices are outstanding too.
One note: recently, they have become ‘discovered’ so you now need to call the restaurant and make reservations a *week” in advance ..

Our experience at Hi Point was wonderful! It was well worth the drive! The service was amazing, and the food was even better! If you are looking for a wonderful meal with great service – this is it! The whole team works like a well oiled machine! The only constructive thing I have to say, is that the atmosphere can get quite loud. It can be hard to hear one another at your table but that really is at no fault of the restaurant rather than large parties that were attending the night we went!

Good quality, delicious food. A classic supper club menu and atmosphere. Our server was kind and attentive. So glad I took my friend’s recommendation to dine here, even though it’s over 30 miles from home. I want to return and try even more things!
