It had a wonderful atmosphere and very friendly staff! It’s usually pretty quiet and not very busy, leading to a relaxed environment for everyone. The build your own bowl style allows for a lot of mix and matching depending on what you want, and everything is cooked to perfection.

Was decent food but wifey couldnt eat all her 2nd bowl so she asked for to go box. Charged us 11.00 for her take her left overs home. On top of the 13.95 a peice we paid for meals. Grand total 62 dollars for me and her to eat here and for her to take her left overs home.

Been going here for about 15 years and I can say its not what it used to be. I understand prices increase but the quality does not match up. Especially, when you go in well before 4 expecting to pay lunch prices and charged for dinner. The cleaniness of the place is gross; sticky tables/floors, gunk and dust on walls, dirty bowls and cups, the sticks they cook with stuck in a bucket crusted with old food on top, the holding temps for food on the counter never seem to be on par for sitting out(thawed meat, warm eggs, soggy veggies etc.) Or you get side eye and attitude for asking to refill a certain food/sauce thats empty. The host never seems to have any hospitality or patience anymore, which ruins the whole dining experience to begin with. My family says once a month “It couldnt be as bad as last time” then we all end up irritated after or sick that night/next morning. This place needs an absolute OVERHAUL (it hasnt changed at all in the 15 years) and until that happens I cannot bring my family here anymore. Breaks my heart because it used to be an absolute GEM.

We are so lucky to have a restaurant this cool in Davenport. These people are masters of their art. I enjoy watching them and admiring their talent. I totally saw them throw a bowl across to catch it in a different bowl. These guys rock! Also flavor that bowl well enough or else it’s bland and you only have your self to blame.

Me and my family came in around 8:10. 59 minutes before they closed. We figured we can get a good meal with the snowy weather. We weren’t planning to stay long, sit down and have a nice meal. THE waiter immediately gave me and my family stink eye when walking in. We had to ask to be seated. The waiter seemed extremely annoyed. Took us to a booth, we all asked for waters, no soup or rice. Right when I was about to sit down he tells me and my family he doesn’t want us to eat there anymore and to just do the to-go.
They need to find a different waiter.

I don’t know why my family’s experience was different. Are waitress sat at a table in the far corner with her kids. We had to go to her to ask for refills on our drinks. I’d never been there before, I made my bowl and grabbed another bowl to mix my sauce and they charged us for an extra meal because I mixed my sauce in a different bowl oops! And when my mom asked about the extra charge the gentleman manager was rude and was “ like look lady u used another bowl! The shrimp was so over powering of fish stank that I didn’t even feed it to my dog!! All I can say is nasty! I will never eat at this establishment and advise others the same! Terrible

So I just had dinner here. I ordered soup and the table was so sticky my soup bowl stuck to the table and spilled. No one asked if I’d like another soup or even help me clean it up. I had to get my pen napkins. And then when I asked them to take the soup off my bill I got told no cuz it was my fault for spilling it. R you kidding me. I will never go back horrible cutimer service
