Wouldn’t really give even one star. No taste. Ordered orange chicken and it had no taste and was stringy and chewy. Also ordered spare ribs, they were cut up. Noodles were cold and rice gummy. They don’t accept credit cards but offered their most popular appetizer for free with cash payment. All truly inedible. Pricey with regard to quality. We won’t go back.

The food here is legit! I was skeptical at first, but luckily our friends in the area took us out to eat. I was blown away. The spicy bowl of stir fried beef and chicken wit veggies was delicious- I really loved the Chinese peppercorns. We also had the ribs and stir fried veggies. I’ll will definitely return. I’m already drooling just writing this review.

My girlfriend and I wanted to eat soup today. What’s better than a hotpot during a cold night? Haha.

Service: there was only 1 server throughout the whole time. He was constantly on his feet and I applaud his expert multi tasking abilities. He was able to help us with the menu and gave us recommendations. I give him props to serve the small restaurant, running back and forth all by himself.

Food: we got the BEEF BRISKET HOT POT (MEDIUM) w/ GLUTEN. It was pretty good. Sean recommended the gluten and it was a great recommendation. Tasted like pork skin but in soup.

Then one thing I didn’t like was that they we’re not very flexible. All of their soups are set. I wasn’t able to have certain meats with certain soups.

Very small, quiet place, though once crowded it will probably be noisy. Food is very well prepared, flavorful, filled with fresh vegetables. The sauces were so rich, we could not finish our meals which is a sign of a fulfilling meal. Not greasy. The braised pork belly was excellent – tender and if you cut off the fat, quite lean. A very good buy. No liquor licence else it would be a full 5 stars. This may be a better place for take out, than eat in. Recommended for foodies.

First time trying this restaurant. I called on a Sunday evening at 600pm. The number went to a recording with no mention of the restaurant. I thought it was a bad number until an Asian speaking lady answered. I have no idea what she was saying. She put the phone down and for 30 seconds I heard a conversation in Chinese. She then hung up. I couldn’t get anyone to answer after that. I will never give them a call again….

two months later:I online ordered Kung Pao Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and veg chow mein. When we took it home and prepared to eat, the food was unrecognizable. I have no idea what it was. The chicken, if that was what it was, had the texture of dried beef jerky with some weird sauce on it. There was no sweet and sour sauce. I know the Covid has hurt these places but I just spent $40.00 for pure garbage. STAY AWAY FOR NOW….

Ordered Los Chicken (small), Honey chicken, and Orange chicken. Los chicken was really good. It was spicy which is great, so much left over juice at the bottom of my place went well with the traditional plain white rice to give it some extra flavor. My kids loved the orange chicken. The honey shrimp was to die for. This is my new favorite place for traditional spicy Chinese food. Co-owner was really cool, cute, and tall Asian woman that is really friendly. A must go.

This is a service review because we never got our food. Came in to order to go – only 2 items: fried rice and scrambled eggs with tomato- was told 10 minutes. Waited for 30 minutes and then realized people who ordered after us had gotten their food and were eating. Asked the server and she told us 10 minutes. That’s when I realized she never put in our order and called her out and she said ‘we are busy’. Will not be returning.

2 stars for service. 5 starts for food. We were (kinda forcefully) asked to pay cash every time (you know why). Also I was told to not order on app because the app charged them service fee. I was just unable to talk during work and wanted to save some time. If that’s the case, I would like to tip them if they ask nicely. Will not go again
