We are a family ran restaurant. Reservations are highly recommended. Times have changed and we are doing our best to adjust. We have had to close our dinner Sundays because of lack of kitchen help. We have moved our fried chicken dinner to Friday nights until we can reopen Sunday. Please call ahead so we can reserve your order. With such a short staff and employees / owners working long hours to keep the doors open. We are doing our best to provide quality service. Your patience is greatly appreciated. This place is hands down one of my favorite places to eat!!! The service is always excellent and the food is top of the line. Tonight I enjoyed the Beef Wellington and let me tell you, it was cooked to perfection. The meatball soup they serve is like nothing I’ve never had. No matter what it is always worth the drive!!!

The food was warm when we got it but OMG the kids running around screaming and playing in a bar area. The people on restaurant side can hear it all so loudly. It’s nice to hear the kids interacting with the bar customers that are drinking. Is that illegal here or just acceptable because there is no other business. For a restaurant to charge so much for 2 chicken tenders and fries is absolutely absurd. The reason they get business is drive by customers but definitely not return customers. Fish 2 piece also for the cost. No bueno

We finally got the chance to eat here. We ordered the Paella and Beef Wellington, both were delicious. The soup was pretty watered down and the salad was simple. They cook the vegetables in corn starch, a flavor I had to ask about. We learned we can request steamed veggies instead 🙂 we saw a LOT out lamb chops served.

Three of us rode from Reno to Wellington for lunch at the Heyday Inn. We had cheese burgers with fries. Great tasting meals and very attentive and attentive staff.

Waited over an hour for our meals and the food was less than good. Fresh had to be sent back and still very greasy. Heard wonderful praises about this place and the food so we were very disappointed.

Had dinner with another couple Saturday night, which was wonderful. Food and service was fantastic. Steaks were generous and cooked perfectly. Seafood chowder was good. Scallops were excellent. Atmosphere was quaint in historic beautiful old pub. Had beers and then a basic cocktail. Could improve on red wine and sparking / white wine options (hardly any – BYO if you like wine). Highly recommended.
