Stopped in for an appetizer snack.
The macho nachos. They were pretty good. These came with grilled Chicken, over house made chips, with queso, BBQ sauce and jalapeños.
The serving was smaller than expected. The nachos may be macho, but they are not mucho.
Have previously had a burger and they are known for that. They’re good.
Looks like it would be a happening place for nightlife.
The inside bar at Hey Joes has plenty of beers, but you have to go to the adjoining bar for Daiquiris.

Stopped by here on our way to Vicksburg. Really cool vibe. It’s exactly what it says it is, delicious burgers and a good variety of beers. We had really great service from Aston! If you’re in the area, definitely give it a shot!

In search of a good dinner or in search of having a good time, I found this restaurant which has a quite authentic atmosphere, very Chill music, the Host quite pleasant as well as the Server offering its craft beers, which are Super good and the Chicken Wings, which I like are quite juicy and have a good flavor. It’s a pity that I can’t say the same about our main dish, which was the hamburger of the month. It’s super dry meat, overcooked, tasteless, it They offer with Chorizo and the least that they brought than the hamburger was the chorizo.
It’s an insult to cook the meat like that, that way, besides that it’s not homemade (like the beers) they come from the boxes that SYSCO provides.

Giving this joint 2 stars for the playlist and aesthetics. If yall had been a food truck with jazz radio I would have figured out a way to hit you with a zero. Had the Kevin Bacon and 5 wings. Burger was alright, but I could have saved money and been equally satisfied with a Krystal. I asked the bartender if all the burgers were smashed. He said they were, this was not. Standard frozen burger tossed on a flattop (taste would suggest it’s time to re-season or clean), but that was my mistake. Barkeep had about as much personality as the floor he was standing on.
The kicker was the menu advertised “5 or 10” for wings, I ordered 5. Afterwards the receipt reads “1/2 pound”
. (HEY JOE, hush. Quit yer lie’n, son.) If I had known beforehand, I would have grabbed a photo of these hummingbird wings. Refer the photo and imagine that bone trying to support 1oz of meat (considering the bone is .4 oz).
I am writing this review 5 minutes down the road and 5 minutes after leaving Hey Joe’s where I am eating again because that half pound of wings and 27.00 dollars later, I am still hungry.

I walked over from hotel as I’m from out of town. I originally placed an order for a 10-piece wing (made extra crispy) with the sauce on the side and small side salad (no tomatoes). They got my order wrong, thankfully I checked. They remade them and gave me the same exact wings that were previously sauces and put them back in the deep fryer. They are very much burned. I called back and the employee that I talked to apologized and told me they would issue me a refund. However, called me back and reneged on the refund. They told I would need to come back and give them the burnt food back—despite me being at an inconvenience. 1) I’m the customer and was put an inconvenience 2) I shouldn’t have to walk back because you burnt my food 3) you don’t offer a refund of someone’s money and then take it back

Hey Joe’s Burgers + Beer is a great place to eat. They have a nice menu and can substitute a burger with a mushroom if you are vegan or veggie.

Didn’t know the Mosquito Burrito had become neighbors to Hey Joe’s and this is when I found out. SO, the review is kinda for both! Ordered the bowl with chicken and my favorites from the available fixings! Loved that it came with a side of queso because that’s my fav. Sat in the outside (shared by both restaurants)area which I absolutely loved!! It was clean, had the utensils and Napkins on each table. Nice decor and good atmosphere. I haven’t been to Hey Joe’s in a couple of years so I’ll have to visit when I’m back in town.

I was staying nearby at the Cotton House hotel and decided to walk down to Hey Joe’s for dinner one night. I’m sure glad I did. They have an excellent covered patio (that was playing the Women’s college basketball tournament on the big screen — bonus points for that guys!) and terrific burgers.
You order at the window, and then grab a table and they run your food to you when it’s done. I went with the Nirvana burger, got a side of tater sticks (really long tater tots), and went with the local Amber ale that was on tap. Great choices all around.

Food is always good at hey joes, only thing they could work on is the servers are sometimes not on the ball. But overall they are pretty good. Great atmosphere lots of cool decore. 100% would recommend to anyone.
