Food was so delicious and the staff are incredibly kind and hospitable! I’ll be definitely coming back for the breakfast sandwich again – with the buttery biscuit, fluffy soft egg, and perfectly seasoned sausage, it’s one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had in the Twin Cities! Can’t wait to try the rest of their menu too! Great spot to hang out and chat with a friend, or bring a laptop and get some work done.

Bright and clean, service was cordial. The food was good, ordered a breakfast burrito- couldn’t tell if there had been any presence of egg in this burrito. Some tiny bits of meat but all rice. Mostly all rice! Think Chipotle burrito amount of rice. It was not a breakfast burrito, rather a rice burrito. I was going for the burrito I saw in the photos that showed them containing nice chunks of eggs and meat with rice(and beans). The flavor was good.

Hey Bear! is a fantastic little breakfast and lunch spot. Everything is made from scratch, and you can taste the quality in every bite. Great food, friendly service, great vibe—definitely one of the best casual spots in St. Paul. Highly recommend.

Great family owned local restaurant. The breakfast sandwich always hits. I substitute out the biscuit for a HOMEMADE English muffin. The base is corn and is so delicious. Highly recommend this cute spot.

I absolutely love the food and the service here. The family is really sweet and I love that the food is all made from scratch and they have items that are Filipino fusion. I was also shocked how affordable the prices are for the food that you’re getting. I also appreciate that the food is served in compostable products.

If this place served nothing but the breakfast sandwich, it would still be one of my favorite joints in the cities. Every ingredient is perfect, and lovingly crafted into one of the tastiest, heartiest breakfasts you’ve ever held in your hand. Add to that some great service and friendly atmosphere and you’ve got a place worth coming back to any chance you get. Also a big fan of their snickerdoodles and the Reuben sandwich – I’m told the vegetarian Reuben (with smoked beets instead of corned beef) is good if you’re into that kind of thing.

Been here 1/2 dozen times now.

Absolutely KILLER egg biscuit sandwich. I think this is the best biscuit I have found in the twin cities area. So light and fluffy. Great sausage and american cheese. Wonderful owner who just loves to talk with the customers. If you like a breakfast sandwich, you better get over here. It’s just off University and Raymond, with free parking behind the shop.

Oh! And they make really great chocolate chunk cookies!!

Cute neighborhood lunch spot with reasonable prices and several tables inside. I got the Cuban sandwich and it was delicious and flavorful. In addition to the regular menu, they frequently have daily specials for sandwiches or bowls.

These reviewers are too nice. Honestly, the food wasn’t anything special, pretty bland. However, the gentleman who greeted us, who took our order made our experience great and provided a nice hospitality.

I got the breakfast burrito which was packed with mostly rice, very little protein compared to the breakfast sandwich. I would recommend changing the breakfast sandwich into a burrito style and offering up condiments on the side. The pricing would make sense if it was up to par, but it wasn’t. In comparison, I would pay this price for one of Egg on A Roll sandwich, who has a variety of choices and sauces that makes their sandwiches special. I wanted to love it and support this small business, but they didn’t meet my standards. Regardless, wish you well!
